What, sure it has a strong taste but it tastes like smoked ham. I find it quite tasty.
At least the Märzen.

Adelskronen Export. I don't remember what drove us to buy the stuff in the first place, but it was vile. Undrinkable without cooling it close to the freezing point first, and even then it left an aftertaste as if somebody had farted into your throat.

Yeah. I knew it was a smoked beer before I bought it. I figured it would be a beer with a smokey taste. The last thing I figured it would taste like was a burned down house.

And no, it doesn't taste like smoked ham. It tastes like an ashtray. There's no ham flavor, no beer flavor, no marzen flavor, no hops, no barley. Just overwhelmingly nasty burnt wood flavor.

As an aside, I had a Roxy Rolle from Magic Hat last night. Just absolutely brutal. Horrible horrible stuff.
