I've worked since I was 13. Kids don't seem to do that anymore.
Its against the law in most states. Also whose going to employ these children?

Then presumably they would offer their support to a heterosexual candidate.
The Democratic Party's failure to endorse a Republican candidate is proof of their despicable anti-Republican bias.
And how does this compare to this heterophobia thing which you still haven't defined?
I would employ a kid. At my last restaurant job there was a 16-year old kid working there. He was a pleasure to work with, very funny & motivated to do a good job & impress his older coworkers. Its against the law in most states. Also whose going to employ these children?
I delivered newspapers morning and/or afternoon for several years when I was maybe 11-14, every damn morning I was up by 5 am
didn't help my schooling
I've been on about this for years. It's a scandal that people graduate from High School essentially unprepared/unable to earn a living wage. Why isn't the quality of 13 years of education enough to prepare an adult for life in the real world with or without further training?

I worked while in school. I went to sports practice after school, then to a part time job after practice, then home to do homework... or I did it in school the day it was due in the class just before... usually the latter.
Of course back then we walked 5 miles to school, barefoot, in the snow, uphill, both ways...

the laws are similar in MI only its 14 and the allowable jobs are super limited. Caddying, grocery bagging and paper delivery afaik. If everyone went out looking for a job at that age itd be pretty competitive because there's a pretty limited number of jobs like that. So what would be the answer? Expanding job types allowed? We need to be careful when advocating child labor.WE could start working at Illinois at 13. I started caddying as soon as I was old enough. And after I got a bit older I'd caddy in the morning, work the bag room or in the club house restaurant later in the day and after I got my license would car park in the evening. It was a long day every day in the summers. If I did that, I could pay for a year of tuition at college and part of my room an board. I could easily make 3 grand a summer. (it was the late 60's and early 70's)
Some do even earlier:

Swalwell would be better since he thinks his defining trait is that hes younger than BidenI'm gonna try to make "responding to cute pictures of children who obviously aren't Pete Buttigieg as though they are pictures of Pete Buttigieg" the primary-defining meme
