Oh. We are. I am financially conservative with money. As I said in a different thread today, YTD our loss is 4.5%.

No wonder you're so blasé about Biden getting the eventual nomination.

I mean you've got yours, though the same can't be said of some of us, eh?

What do you expect him to do? Give away his savings so that he feels the need to support Bernie?

So no concern at all, you're just trolling me? Good job.

I'm not blase about Biden at all. My goal has been clear since 2016: Trump has to go or everybody loses. I would support any dem against him. Your guy lost, my guys (Warren or Yang) lost; time to get over it and move on to November. I've voted in every election since 1968; I'm very practical about them now.

My "friend" I expect him to understand that the status quo, represented by Biden or Trump is ****ing people over who haven't been as lucky as he has in aquiring wealth.

You don't get it do you? Things might not be bad for you but for me and many other Americans, we're already at tipping point, unable to afford even the basics let alone any potential healthcare related costs.

What is it about four more years of the status quo and harmful that is to someone like me don't you get?

And if, as is likely, the two options are Biden or Trump, what do you do then? Abjure your democratic responsibilities and not vote at all? Vote for the lesser of two evils? Or, as was suggested earlier, stick two fingers up at the DNC and then spent another four years complaining?

How do you expect to galvanize and excite potential democrat voters by essentially sticking to the status quo? That's what Biden represents; he's an establishment candidate who won't rock the boat.

We're not like you, we have to pay out of our asses for basic healthcare and our social net has been cut to the ****ing bone by people like Biden

Yes, but that's Biden's problem, not yours. Your problem will (likely) be having to choose between Biden and Trump and (presumably) that shouldn't even be a choice, even if you hate the very ground on which Biden walks.

I do get it, but I can't actually do anything about your situation. Bernie has lost and there is nothing I can do to change that. He had his shot and couldn't get over the hump. The NM primary is in June. President Biden will not be the Trump status quo. You seem to think they are equivalent. They are not. And just so you know, my wife is a die hard in the wool Bernie supporter and I've heard all the arguments and continue to hear them every day.

I don't trust Biden and I don't believe he has any sincere desire to do anything other than enable the status quo of continuing to screw America over in the name of rampant corporatism and by continuing this decades long jig of the Democratic party by being socially liberal but essentially in lockstep with the gop economically and I'm tired of being told by people who DO have money that I should essentially sit down and accept that better things aren't possible

This is, for some of us, a once in a lifetime opportunity for change and it's gone so of course me and other's in situations that some may find intolerable are going to be pissed off and emotional over their lives effectively being condemned to the same **** I'm a human being, not some robot that can harvested for votes.

You are entitled to your beliefs but I don't know him or you, perhaps it would be better to keep it that way.

Because as we all know, the average American voter is well known for their logic and being presented with hours of waiting in line to vote alongside their option being a frankly bland, brain-wasting old man who is the epitome of class and institutional interests self interest is really a compelling mix in an already very heated race where the other side is doing their damn best to depress minority turn out.
It is rarely better to not know people with whom you interact act with regularly.

You might consider trying to focus on a single enemy rather than juggle several. Trump, RNC, DNC, Biden, moderate Dems, Boomers, rich folks, etc.

But you're not the "average American voter", are you? For someone who keeps insisting that Trump's re-election would be actively dangerous to their health and livelihood, your first goal should be to ensure that that doesn't happen, especially if it means voting for the lesser of two evils.

The problem is the system and Biden represents the Democrats desires to stick with that system as well as to perpetuate it in continuity. I cannot distill it any more.
