Because I don't react that thread. I made 1 post iirc.

Also you pick fights with everyone. No one's dogpiling me;).

That response is irrelevant and completely dodges the inherent flaw in your disingenuous tactic against me. Strike two against you, @Zardnaar!

See what I mean.

If you can't handle the jandal....

I don't at all see what you mean. I don't think there is any meaning to see. Just self-serving double standards and wet tissue paper justifications and defenses of them.

Have you ever heard the saying

"It's not what you say but how you say it".

"everyone agrees the bad people are bad, but they're bad in such a polite way". Respectability politics suck Zardnaar. People get angry. Learn to live with it.

Why don't you ask the crowd who had been dogpiling me on the "Cancel Culture," thread their solution to racism, or tell them to shut about it? Both are vast, institutional, entrenched, cancerous, and near insurmountable issues, where realistic "solutions," are not going to be easily forthcoming by anyone, but saying, "if you have no solution, you have no right to complain," is just as disingenuous and dismissive, but arrogantly unproductive, and subtly complicent with the problem, as telling those I alluded to the same about the problem of institutional racism. But I know you won't say the same thing to them, so clam up about it to me - you've now been informed that tactic lacks all credibility and why.
While I'm sympathetic to your anger in this thread, Patine (genuinely), I recommend not citing the thread you asked nobody to tag you in again. Kinda defeats the point of it.

Also, please don't tag me randomly if you're not replying to me, as you did two pages or so ago in this thread. I wasn't discussing anything with you, and I really don't need the notification spam. Type my handle without the @, I don't mind.

I understand the anger at Gerrymandering etc.

That doesn't apply when it came the Democrat primary. Bernie was only ahead due to vote splitting he never had a majority.

Here's your options.

1. Vote
2. Don't vote (helping Trump)
3. Overthrow the system (good luck with that).

What about catpiling you? Gotta have some room for wholesome cat memes :mischief:.

I like cats. Bring em on.

Some left wing leaders are populist just like Trump. They come up with unrealistic ideas designed to get people angry.

Problem is once they crash and burn you've got a heap of angry folks left behind.

Grew up poor, I want I want, I want usually just got you a smack. Do it at school you got the strap or cane.

Even if USA was proportional voting they still wouldn't get what they want.

Main point being is you gotta be realistic what you can do and how to go about it.

People can still be angry at the entire system. They don't have to propose a valid alternative system for their anger to be valid. It's okay to be frustrated and not know how to fix something - that's why a bunch of professions exist. You (and others) really need to stop putting down angry opinions just because they're angry. I can be mad at my boiler, but know I can't fix it myself. I can be mad at an electoral landscape and still not know how to fix it.

Is my anger helping magically fix the broken system? No. But that's not what anger is for. It's an emotion. No more, no less.

Making decisions while angry is usually A bad idea. Trump cops flak because he made stupid promises but other get a pass.

If something won't fly here with proportional representation and a lot more liberal electorate it's sure as hell won't fly in the US.

Even the Greens aim to be a party of influence they don't really expect to win a majority.

The right usually has one thing to focus on. Usually tax cuts/deregulation. Same in UK/YS)NZ/Aussie probably Canada.

The left doesn't really have something to rally behind. They've got a variety of causes but I overwhelming one that unites them.

Dumping Trump I suppose might count. The problem is absolutely the messaging IMHO.

Nobody here is making decisions. They're presenting arguments. If the arguments are that easy to take apart - do that. Don't complain about the tone folks are using, that's just a cop-out.

Don't worry, they'll get me back to sans smoke and mirrors directly paying for over 300,000 kills a year right at home. They haven't started a big one overseas in a minute. They might not hit 300,000 via ineptitude in 2020. They're just champing at the bit to do it properly and repeatedly at home. The latent current rate of ~600,000 a year is too... fungible, I suppose.

Suprised?

Following your post down the rabbit hole I stumbled onto this:
https://www.huffpost.com/entry/herman-cain-tweet-death-biden-kamala_n_5f355963c5b6fc009a62de15

TL;DR - Herman Cain, who is dead, killed by COVID after contracting it, most likely while attending Trump's Tulsa, OK rally... posted a tweet from the grave condemning Kamala Harris as Biden's VP choice.

The funniest comment on the tweet I saw was someone marveling at how impressive his WiFi must be, for him to be able to tweet from the afterlife.
