Who cares? You weren't the one who defined it. The initial comment was that China's frontiers were pretty damn forested and that the map didn't show it - none of this "North China" hooey there. You then made comments about "China's northern and western frontiers". No "North China". Then after I brought up Dongbei and the fact that the Tarim Basin != China's actual western frontier while noting that, yes, there aren't a whole helluva lot of forests in the Gobi, you ignored 90% of my post while going after a distinction that had never been drawn in the discussion before. I don't know why you're PMSing all the hell over me right now, but you need to get it sorted out, right? And you very well know what I mean when I say Northern.Dongbei is a distinct geographical region quite separate from Northern China (which, by the way, is officially defined as, well, not Dongbei). If I had meant Dongbei, I would've said Dongbei, as no one refers to Dongbei when they refer to Northern China (eg "Northern China suffers from a water shortage" or "Northern China is at risk of desertification"). Go back to your Diadokhoi and your Basileia Rhomaion.
