Altered Maps XII: Not to Scale

I do quite like it stylistically though, in apparent contrast to everyone else.

It is Prussia. Why Prussia has regained the territories of the Grand Duchy of Warsaw is unclear.

But a lasting, stable Napoleonic hegemony was impossible anyway, so the Prussians might as well have gotten that stuff back. Doesn't make the map any more or less ludicrous.

My eyes are bleeding at sight of that... "key".

Does not compute.

Eh, I didn't make it, I'm just the middleman :scan:

Here's one with a wetter & warmer Earth, leading to different geography and human development

Lovely.

The font! *cringes*

Also, it appears that the Atlanteans are the most developed polity, right? Somehow I doubt they could develop in that part of the world if it is even warmer and wetter.

I love the idea of Poland controlling Greenland then not Iceland.

Why did a rise in sea level cause Japan to get bigger?

For the same reason that the Channel and Red Seas are dry: because the water is busy covering the Caucasus and the better part of Syria.

Doesn't a rise in sea level imply that there's more water to go around?

Godzilla pooped all over Japan in the great pooping of 1325

Ah yes, that tragic, tragic, smelly, event.

You guys are going to just love this one

It's based on this fantasy novel

I like it. A Great Commonwealth of nations centered in Poland of course. =)

I wonder how far fetched something like this is. Poland could realistically of put a Polish noble on the Muscovy throne, and the Vasa's were descendent from the Jagiellon's after all.

*shrug*, but it reminds me of Miedzymorze

Here's another map I came across, this one's in a parallel universe where the Mongols managed to invade most of Europe
