You live in Spain, hate mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard, and watch My Little Pony. Clearly our worldviews clash.
Only for two more years... two!
I want to leave this here as a warning to all of you.

In two years, we'll have to check this.

ok come on guys don't make the mods close this

there's enough circlejerking as is

I nominate Bozo Erectus' MS Paint Museum posts.

These images are amazing. Bozo gave me permission to try some craft projects with them, and someday I'll actually finish something (counted cross-stitch, or hooked rug).

Amazing indeed! That guy has talent.

I'm almost inspired to try something myself. But I know it would disappoint me cruelly.

I've actually done a few things in MSPaint.

Spoiler :

It's a pretty handy tool once you get the hang of it. Try it out!

Trains!

Well, there's an insight for us all. That's a bit of a dark vision you have there. But valid, I would guess.

You should try it. You never know what you're capable of, otherwise.

My own efforts aren't much better than what I can do freehand when not drawing tribbles (I'm rather good at those, if I may brag a little). But I belong to a smiley-making forum and the webmaster there once asked us to post our drawings. So I drew a couple of pictures, and they look pretty much like something the average 5-year-old might do.

I've asked the moderators to move Bozo's thread to the A&E forum. It's too good to languish in the old OT.

I can write pretty good stories but my "graphical" talent leaves much to be desired ;)

If anything, this thread proves that you can't trust average americans with even a butter knife, let alone assault rifles.
Oh, they talk like they are reasonable beings, but why would a reasonable being insist on having the power to kill his friends, neighbors or total strangers on a whim?
They express a deep desire to not subordinate themselves to anyone and thus place themselves outside of a society trying to work together and compromise to build a better tomorrow.

What kind of people insist on their right to own the power to kill?
They are people that say "I will be a part of society and follow the law of the land ... until I decide otherwise and on that day you are dead."

"Uh, uh, but I need that gun to defend myself, sir!". Yeah, right. Try building a competent police force. Sure, sometimes even the best police will be too late. But there is no amount of gun that can protect you against everything. Trust God or something.

"Uh, uh, but I only collect them as a hobby and use them for sport". Collect cars and practice with slings or bows, for god's sake.

"Uh, uh, but cars kill people too, why not ban cars?". Well done. Treat guns like cars, eh? Well brother, for once we agree, because cars are heavily regulated. Hah, maybe you'd even have to pay an annual tax for every gun! That would be so awesome!

"Uh, uh, guns don't kill people, people do". True. And people with guns do it most efficiently. I mean, it's called an assault rifle - not a home defense rifle, eh? Also, ask a veteran if he'd prefer a gun, a knife or a Toyota in a firefight.

Nah. You can't be trusted with guns. Give them up to protect yourself. And tell your cops that their job is to protect the people, not corporate interests. Civilization is a hard game, but just give it one more turn.
The fun is with the "Uh, uh," paragraphs. Especially the bolded one.

There's some inspired writing coming from the gun-grabbing lobby, here. Won't convince anyone though.

I've been inspired before. I'll be inspired again. Wolves in sheep's clothing.

If we can put pictures here, I nominate all of Lord Joakim's contributions to DYOS. And Perfections. And Kan's. And... oh hell, why not, just the entire last couple of threads.
