Montserrat, the holy mountain of the Catalans. They're making a Castell, a Catalan tradition.

I'm glad Gangleri posted this.

Montserrat is truly an unique mountain to the world.

You can see it, near Barcelona, shaping it on the horizon, in a direction where everywhere more or less is flat.

The mountain, made of pure rock pulled to the surface by ancient geologic forces, is a natural truly delight to the eyes, and interesting culturally, and religiously.

Thanks, I just spent the past hour going through his adventures. Great photos, he leads an interesting life. I like how his pictures have themes: NYC, Regensburg, sushi, flowers, sunsets, Buddhism, and Hong Kong. Surprisingly few have people in them, but the few that do are amazing as well.
