...MAYBE...

What's behind Romney 2016 speculation

Don't be surprised if Mitt Romney is on the GOP primary ballot

Mitt Romney Hits Campaign Trail As Talk Of 2016 Presidential Run Heats Up

Mitt Romney for President 2016

*SQUEE!!* Oh... my... GOD!!! Yeah yeah, I know, he says he's not, but just let me dream a little here. Besides, what if he changes his mind? The GOP potentials so far are just not exactly ringing my bell, ya know?

You guys think he's the best chance the GOP has, or does some other personage out there grab you as the best shot for a Republican in 2016?

Are you saying Romney did ring your bell?
He sucks, can't win.
Obama lost something like 5 million votes from his previous election, as vunerable as he could have been, but Romney got about the same as McCain did in 2008... despite a population increase over 4 years time.
He shot himself in the foot with this entitled statement about the 47%.

Actually, yes, I loved that parody. But you guys are not mentioning alternative candidates, you're just saying no Mitt. Who is out there, if not Mitt, to lead the GOP to victory in 2016?

This is hopeful news! Romney is by far the most beatable candidate the GOP could possibly come up with. Maybe Dick Nixon, since he's just as bad plus he's dead, but otherwise Mitt's the MAN!

By the time he got around to that one he had to shoot himself in the knee...he had already blown off both feet and was working his way up.

Jeb Bush might be able to hack it.:(

With the albatross of GW hanging around his neck? Unlikely. Which is really too bad as he is probably the best president the current GOP could cough up, if they could get him into office. The other possibilities are whack jobs following the fringes of the party into oblivion.

Christie?

Christie?

Looks possible...currently, and might actually be good at the job. Problem is that as Governor of New Jersey it's unlikely he doesn't have some sort of dirt on him somewhere that the GOP primary process will certainly expose (or create, depending on who else gets in the primaries...looking at you Mitt!). If he doesn't, great, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

:rotfl:

That's awesome.

Let's see, in no particular order: (Rand) Paul, (Jeb) Bush, Huckabee, Christie, Ryan, Cruz, Rubio, Jindal... have I missed anyone?

Personally I think Rubio has the best shot.

I have a feeling that Romney might, once again, be one of the 'better' candidates for the GOP if he tries again in 2016.

Actually, to be honest, I'm not that uncomfortable with him as I probably should be. Maybe because he was one of the few who looked like a messianic, heroic statesman compared to the circus of Republican candidates in 2012.

Didn't this guy run last time.. and lost to Obama?

He didn't seem to really know what he was doing whenever I heard him speak. It was just all ideology, anti-Obamaness, and no actual plans, aside from the plans that sounded like very very bad ideas.

Come on Republicans, you can do better than this! Why not say.. Hulk Hogan!??? He would get more votes. Or even the Ultimate Warrior.

TRY HARDER

Watch the Republicans lose again for a third time running

Christie?

Hell no. He's out until 2020 at the very least. GWB scandal, Sandy money used in a campaign add, failing in his #1 goal of pension reform, the "surprise" 300 million dollar budget shortfall due to cutting income tax on people making 1 million plus. I could go on and on.
