No, I think you misunderstood.
Okay. Yeah I think I had -_______-"
Because I was thinking about the 4 Civs elegance so that I forgot it could be a really hard task for the modder.. Because I can't find any other civs that can represent anything that was spawn in the past around 3000BC than that Maya or Inca lol...
I was thinking to make it like a decoration, with no starting techs nor functioned UP (Making them like only worked in certain time frame).. But after all, I think it just better to represent the Mesoamerican Civs with autorazed barbarian or independent cities

Likewise, an Indian spawn circa 1500BC (later would be ahistorical, I'd say)
Yeah. There's vedic age in India circa 1500BC and a civilization led to modern India already fluorishing so I think it's historical enough for them to spawn at that age.
Assuming, reasonably, that an Indus Valley city blocks the Indian subcontinent until at least circa 1500BC, India would be isolated. China, Egypt, and Babylon would have no contact with it; India would have no contact with the outside world.
Modern day India really never had contact with Babylon or Egypt at all and India Babylon refer to be contacted are the IVC.. China still be able to contact India though. We just block the western gate to Indian subcontinent.. And since Harappa is autorazed in 1500BC, when India spawn, there's nothing else blocking the path

I like historical realism. However, because there are so many ways to make RFC more historical, we have to draw a line somewhere. There has to be a positive gameplay impact - a Silk Road, for example, would be very useful. Unfortunately, Leoreth can't address every little minor thing. One is welcome to make any changes him/herself, though.
Agreed

So I think we better postponed the minor thing first until everything is stable, before going into the minor things.. (Though I'm not categorizing about time spawn and capital location into minor things, IMHO

And to be honest, I just downloaded the game today, due to bad and low speed internet connection --" so I get to friend's house and borrow his internet --"
I play as Phoenician for the first time and there's something I'd like you to know.. which is an annoying things..
Babylonia is over-cultured that its cultured spread into my Phoenician core area so when I spawn, I can't built any cities in the core area, I even thrown to the Anatolia and well.. I WB it.. I grant the core area of mine into the Purple colored via the territory editor -or whatever the name is-
Since my settler and archer is at Anatolia, it cost 1 turn to turn back to the core area, and guess what? In the NEXT TURN, the tiles is re-owned by Babylon !

So I still can't built any cities there, trying WBing again and failed, I built a cities in Anatolia which they spawn the name Utica -Which should be in Tunisia-
I wonder why Babylonian culture do not perished when Phoenician spawn.. because IIRC, I was playing as Spain in original RFC when suddenly 3x3 tiles with Lisbon on center suddenly have no my culture at all when Portugal spawn.. I was hoping the same thing, at least for the 3x2 core Area I had

That's all for now. I'll let you know if I found something unusual again
