Dume maps

Did you base these maps on something else, Rascal ?
Dune Wars is indeed a very good mod. I haven't played it in a while but as soon as I get Civ-4 installed again, so does DW. King_Arthur was, and still is I think, interested in making a Dune mod. He had some great ideas for it. A Sandworm has been recently released by Tom and I released some Westwood's Dune 2 building a while ago. There is definitely an interest.

i wonder how will a dune base mod will be in civ 4, i think it might be easier to implement in civ3, interesting.
i saw the sand worm and i got excited.
maybe implementing all terrain units will be better then the civ4 one, the ai should use the units better i think.
and using the spice should be interesting, i saw that you can define a resource to disappear and re appear with specified numbers - so i can make different kinds of spice that are needed for buildings and so on.
ill try to learn making art for a map first.

View attachment Dune.ZIPI kinda fine-tuned the maps; I added some more terrain variations and fixed a few things. I also put them into a zip file as to save any trouble later for people who can't open RAR files.

im not going away....im on fanatics every day for the past 5 years...
i dl all the dune material i could get fo starting the mod.
ive began to try and create the desert like terrain, but im having difficulties with the coloring, im still in need of an art program that can help me, besdies paint shop....
