Which crime did I perpetrate? Which alliance did I form? I'm afraid that winds from Treachers' Bay are whispering you about things that are not real. If I could offer a gratuitous advice to a reputable Assembly don't listen to them. You are only stirring waters of friendship with words like "guilt".

My merchants wronged no-one. I approve usage of slavery as a form of punishment when no better punishment can be applied. But it's creditor right to exchange his debtor for any amount of money he wishes. The ban on sale will hurt the debtor, because he would be waiting longer for the return of his money. You are restraining the trade and freedom of your people, the very lifeblood of Lanun and if you would continue, your nation will become only an empty shell of its former self.

And for the slaves repaying their debt to the society, they shouldn't be on sale at the first place. Your rash reaction implies bad custody or bad intention. While I hope that this is only an temporary misunderstanding, I am afraid that Kuriotate merchants aren't willing to trade in such unstable and unjust market scorning the idea of free trade.

Also, in applications, Calabim entry is bad formend and they and Lanun are missing their cultural values. And what exactly is a Khazad "labor" CV?
 
@Loki: Yes, I will send full stats to everyone after this update, and also I need to send them to Kol.7 before update.

@ Algeroth: Well updates will probably be every Sunday, so there will be one week between the updates. Also will fix the first post immediately. Arete is RoK only civic that gives bonus to mines, I have it effects written in one email so it'll be posted on update.
 
An update a week is a much, much better pace for me :goodjob:

I will send you my orders as soon as you send me my stats, and I'll probably start work on another story, or part three of my other story.

Is trading with Amurites open for this turn orders or only next turn? I understood we could only have diplo this turn but start getting real agreements/trade routes/whatnot on next turn.
 
@ Loki: Yeah, that was plan, I'll send stats right after the next update (End of Turn 10, start of 11), so you have stats ready for next orders.
 
No problem. Also, a small request. Loki was good enough to send me his orders once again in single email. So I'd appreciate if everybody else went through their email boxes, searched sent mails for ones sent to me and made a single email named Civ Name Final Orders.

I got more than one mail from some players. It naturally happens as sometimes you don't know if something is possible or not to do, or close trade deal after you send orders etc. But it makes my job hard, especially after a pause when I forget what I was up to.

So if everyone except Loki resent their turn 10 orders in single mail I'd appreciate. Not that I wont read old mails, but there is always danger of missing 10 days old mail where you ordered some trade or military order.

Well I prefer mail contacts as then I can respond with excel spreadsheet info. So always better to stay in touch via email. But PMs are fine as well.
 
sending turn 9 stats all around, please verify if they are OK. Apply your turn 9 incometo your treasury. Also, your orders come on top of this stats.
