Gigan Pack

Phew, this pack has been brewing for a while : almost one year. Putting the finishing touches on Upgraded Millennium Gigan took a while and dealing with the big size of the Millenium Gigan and the general stiffness of the model annoyed more than once. I'm really glad to kick them out.

Anyway, here are the multiple versions of the extraterrestrial cyborg daikaiju Gigan !
All have alternate run and can paradrop.

Shōwa Gigan
from Godzilla vs. Gigan (1972) and Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973)

Millennium Gigan
from Godzilla: Final Wars (2004)

Upgraded Millennium Gigan
from Godzilla: Final Wars (2004)

Mummified Gigan
from Godzilla: Final Wars (2004)

Gigan began the movie as a mummified corpse being analyzed by Japanese scientists. A good preplaced unit if you want Gigan to be available only once and not from the start.

No, I didn't. In Godzilla: Final Wars, the mummified Gigan moved only a few moments, in order to crack its fossilized shell and turn into its regular self. So, there isn't any need for a moving mummified Gigan in Modzilla. However, both mummified units have an additional animation I didn't put in the preview : their eyes glow red during the Fidget anim. What niches were you thinking of ?

Well, I think the mummified Gigan, because of his aspect and his colour tones, can be useful as a generic monster in Fantasy scenarios/mods such as Conquests of Might and Magic. But of course, in its current static status also gives a good thrill!

The mummified Gigans make for a real interesting play, especially if you use both (too cool not too). I guess the Showa Gigan would upgrade from the mummified version at the earlyish Kaiju stage, Showa (era 2), and the Millennium (x2) at the Millennium Era (era 4). Would make an interesting play for the Alien Xilien Civ to have to protect the Mummys until they can "Hatch." Requires Escort...

Pre-Kaiju. Xiliens prep their bases and scout out the earth, Earth Defenders are tribals worshipping dinos and the like. Human Civs are busy reconstructing in a post-WWII environment...

Pretty short era but gives the kaiju civs a chance to build minimal infrastructure, and is the only time in which the Human civs are more powerful. Of course, they cannot do much about that for other reasons

I like the upgrades!

[IAll in the set are excellent. The mummified & Showa Gigans are more to my taste - I agree with Don Pepito that a fuller set of animations would be nice.

Yes and no. The website is perfectly legal and the models are free to use and share. However, it has some really mild erotic renders in it. Apparently, daikaijus and Ultragirls group activities are somewhat a thing in Japan. Of course, I can send you the link via PM.

The main reason I was asking was because the wings on some of those models are close to some of the Indonesian deva images. Maybe there's something there that would be usable for or adaptable to an Indian mythological unit. Ecchi & hentai don't bother me. It's no worse than what you come across while looking for a monkey for a Hanuman unit.

Uh, let's see. No, I think that's it. In the end, I'll remove all of them from my sig and add them in the Atomic Labs thread. My sig hit the limit a while ago and it became quite annoying to maintain in this form.
