Value of local currency relative to USD on PPP basis? Not it, but let's have that out of the way too.

An economic metric by which Germany, Tunisia, and Papua New Guinea are all comparable, but in which Japan is lagging? Man. It's gotta have another variable, like "X per Y".

Is one of the variables related to emissions?

I think I'll say this is close enough to the answer, although you're way overcomplicating it by talking about PPP lol

It's exchange rates of currencies relative to USD

So USA has value 1, Kuwait is #1 with value around 0,25

you can barely see the difference between those two on the map though thanks to outliers like Vietnam which has exchange rate of like twenty thousand to one

That was annoyingly straightforward.

I'm not going to come up with a map immediatly. If anyone else wants to take my turn, go ahead

Brazil, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, India... This is some sort of economic standard, isn't it?

Countries which prefer creamy peanut butter to crunchy?

Australia's not in but the other G20s all are. Australians, what's something your country does economically that's weird

Also, Nigeria's not there, but the other BRIC/MINT nations are.

Nah, Argentina is missing too.
Europe is mostly in...but not the whole EU. Also not the whole Eurozone. Or the whole Schengenarea. But Switzerland is in. And Monaco.

But what are the Dom Rep and Panama doing there o_O?

On this map, is Taiwan supposed to be part of the people's republic, or an independent entity?

Taiwan is separate, but that's not particularly relevant. The map does concern something economical but nothing lofty like the G20 and BRIC, nor anything abstract.

Also, turns out the map is outdated. Australia should be brown as well, since last year.

So... in what economic criteria would Norway, Denmark, Finland and NZ not be in the top list?
...under the assumption that coloured states are doing well, and not bad here.
Import/Export related?
EDIT: Nah, doesn't really make sense.

the colouring of the map makes me want to ask if it's got anything to do with gold lol

some global brand that recently opened up in australia? a restaurant chain of some type?

Is Puerto Rico on independently or as a territory of the US?
