I know, I'm stupid and this is a pretty basic question, I thought about it a long time

In the tutorial-forum, there are two threads how to add a new civ in PTW, resp. normal Civ3. But I've C3C and want to change a civ. I know this should be easier, but i did not succeed after browsing around in the editor and the file order.

I'm apologizing and hoping for help: How can i change a civ in a normal game?

Just delete the civ, then add the new one.

Don't forget to check the units after that. It mess some things up there.

You can just rename a civ instead of deleting it, that way the units doesn´t get mixed up.

ehm, yes is this possible? my first question was, HOW to do that, rename them That's the only thing i wanna do (replace the Dutch with Switzerland), and if this suceeds, I'll probably try some else. I'll thank again for helping me! remark: I have nothing against the dutch, they are a great civ. but i want to have my home in it too )

(argh, i hate these weeks, where i just have no time, leaving the house when it's dark outside and coming back when its again dark outside.. )

In the editor under civilizations there is a rename buttom. You should also make a new city and leader list(also under "civilizations")
