Iron and Blood 2 - Game Thread

"Let the war of Ottoman Succession be a warning to would-be aggressors of this world. You will never have any sympathy for your side, you will always be actively plot against by those antagonized by your actions, and you will always lose."

The Sultan wrote this short statement and sent it to Congress as well as the largest newspaper in Istanbul. According to the Sultan, this statement is merely a holdover until he completes his much longer speech on the current issues at hand, which he plans to soon.

OOC: Only Mosher? One should never completely trust anyone in a CFC forum game, at any instance at all!

I beg to differ... I am as honest as can be. I have never betrayed anyone in an IOT save christos in risk... But christos doesn't count.

Betraying someone in Risk doesn't count as a betrayal. :p

I am in the same situation as Robert. See recent IOT history.

You betrayed me in MP.

Joan betrayed everyone in MP. Then we backstabbed him. :D The second backstab, I believe, in the long standing tradition of betraying Joan in IOTs.

Never done it... Never will :p

But this conversation may constitute spam... Let us end it here.

WHEN DID I BETRAY SOMEONE IN MP???

Apart from christos, but we were coming from a RP and I don't like him as a neighbour...

You were constantly flip flopping between alliances and, if I recall correctly, you abandonded your alliance for mine quite quickly (though MP was a while ago and I don't remember it very well).

You B*sterds. That's not betraying somebody. I didn't like the ambiance in the League, and the CNC turned out to be a fiasco, with the members being absent for ages. So you left me no other option but to join the Comintern.

Israel is joining the war on the side of the Free City of Istanbul. I'll do the write-up later. I just go back in town and am behind on everything.

Not in this sense.

It could only be considered a land grab in that your side initiated this war for land. It was blatant aggression. Everybody on our side is in it not for the land, but because we honor our commitments, and we honor them truthfully and honestly, not twisting defensive pacts to mean something else.

So in summary, we have:

A Christian Pope

A Muslim Successor to the internal areas of the Ottoman Empire

A Muslim Caliph

A Jewish nationalist state

A Orthodox Tsar that is not corrupt

A Catholic French Imperialist Emperor

VS

An America with the worst Generals and Admirals in the world

A false prophet claiming to be an emperor in Bosnia

A Power hungry man who somehow became despot of Catalonia and managed to conquer Marseilles in Massena's absence.

---

Nice war eh?

A proper write up to come later.
