OOC: Nice update as usual das.

to: Olmerica
From: Nihon
We come from the west, across the great Ocean. Allow us to trade in your land, and use your ports for a base for future explorations and we can live in peace.

Excellent update. That didn't go too badly, considering....

To: Gaul
From: Cimberland
Help us, fellow Solists, before we are overrun by the southern pagans who do not recognize the Unconquerable Sun!

...please?

Nation Background: Driven west by the domino effect of the Tieh Chinese anti-Turkish campaigns, the Bulghars arrived on the Itil in the late 3rd Century. They found the Hunnish Empire already dead, and filled up its niche. Unlike their predecessors, the Bulghars built a developed, semi-sedentary, urban civilization, with a strong state apparatus, and only then went on the war-path again. When they did, the combined-arms Bulghar army defeated Huns, Alans and Slavs alike, and ultimately slaughtered a Dacoillyrian army as well; in the wake of that campaign, Onoghurian (Eternal) Empire's size was doubled, and these gains were also thoroughly integrated. The methodical Bulghar world conquest is likely to resume soon, but at least now their neighbours have been warned...

Das, where are my army spread out/located?

You don't need to tell me. Too bad I didn't get orders in last turn, or I would have been able to put up more of a fight...

Just in case no one's said it yet: Screw you and the approximately ninety thousand horses you rode in on. ;)

We shall put this in simple words for you, skum. Retreat, now, and we will forget this ever happened. If you fail to do that, we will expel you, and you will have wasted even more of your men for nothing.

From Egypt

Don't expect to win so easily. You forget we have your large cities under our control, and a navy. While we do know our men will die, they will not have died for nothing. Perhaps an agreement can be drawn up?

inadvertly (?)
Inadvertently.

@Imago- Don't apologize if you plan to continue attacking.

To: Treacherous Wretches of Arabia
I most sincerely hope that there is enough space in your hell for each and every one of you. We are responsible for none of your idiotic governmental ineptitude. Unlike your pathetic nation of bloated leeches, we keep our promises.

Retreat immediately from what will never be yours.

@das, are army movement rules the same? Like, is there a strict rule towards how far my armies can move in one turn (besides what was normal before)?

@Thom, any interest in Tieh China?

From the rules:
Technically your troops can move quite far - after all, each update is five years. Still, it’s valuable to take things like infrastructure, geography and starting positions (given as of the end of the last turn) into account... It’s quite hard to predict how far you might get, so use your brains for that.

TO: The Frankenreich
FROM: The Empire of Gaul
CC:Wenedia

Should the integrity of the Frakenreich be threatened beyond the current gains of Wenedia (Ostland), then Gaul shall take proactive measures to ensure that Western Frankenreich is not lost to the incompetancy of its rulers. Gaul will not allow its Solist brothers to fall pray to Wenedia's schemes of conquest. Nor shall we heed the orders of any Frankish King which tells his men to surrender themselves to the enemy.

TO: The Kingdom of Cimberland
FROM: The Empire of Gaul

We will stand by our allies.

TO: The Dacio-Illyrian Empire, The Punic Empire of Carthage
FROM: The Empire of Gaul

As stated before, we will stand by our allies. Either withdraw from Cimberland, or face a wider war.

From Wenedia
To Gaul

We have reclaimed lands that were orignally ours. We mean no harm to the integerity of Frankreich itself and would prefer it be perserved. Our two nations have come to a reasonable peace so there should be no problem. If there is we are open to negiotations.

to the Kingdoms of the North sea: (all those hurt by me)
Your sun seems not so strong when fighting in water. If you wish for our navies to cease the destruction of your trade routes you must cease all threats of war upon Nortugal. We may lost the Northern wars in the past, but that doesn't mean we became weak. We will remove our fleets only ones you decide to cease your threats. Until than, only None Solist kingdoms will be allowed to trade and sail. Your aggressive diplomacy will only lead to aggressive answers.

OOC- das? S I have 5 or 6 eco wit the extra banked one? Is the banked one is one of the trade ones?

Well then try to a bit more discriminating. Norge isn't Solist and you banged us up pretty good :p

What is the actually tech level for Europe and Asia? What kinds of weapons and armor are in use?

well one can say that was in mistake ^^... Thou the Norge hate us just as well.. I'll stop attacking your ships if you will stop trading with Sol.
