Joe Wilson, great American hero ?

dude, liberals are brainwashed. They will never admit they are wrong even if you shove the facts in their face. They hate America, they want to make it into a third world welfare state.

Why yes, yes I did.

I'm not surprised that this is the extent of your intellectual capability, but I am disappointed. Good night.

:crazyeye:

K buddy, hasn't been nice talking to you. Good to know there's someone else I can put on my list of crazies to not care what their opinion is.

BECAUSE I WILL BE PAYING FOR IT.

if you want to pay for an illegal's healthcare, then do so with your own money.
Don't force me to pay for their healthcare.
You don't have to pay. Just don't do any activity that generates a tax.
This website sucks. I'm out of here. Bye, socialist scumbags.
Can't we just civilly discuss what a hero Joe Wilson is?

Maybe I'll stay to annoy the fat panda WHOMP and his liberal censorship buddies.

hmmmm...naw. This forum sux too much for that.

Yes its all in good fun. I was wondering why I did not see Obama at the first game of the new Cowboy stadium? I saw George W. Bush though.

And Bill3000  nice cartoon, but I thought you were a liberal. :goodjob:

Obama lied. There is no oversight on it. It's like saying speeding is illegal but not giving cops radar guns. Stay in the dark, you will be happier there.

I guess you also believe Obama when he says his healthcare plan will not add one dime to the deficit.

I see Iam the one in the dark here.
even though it took me one minute to actually search the bill and see that it has massive fraud oversight, penalties and regulations

What Obama said with "context"
Note the caviarts, Note that he said 2/3 of cost. Note that he said short term due to the uncertainty of the US economy.

That is why I have pledged that I will not sign health insurance reform that adds even one dime to our deficit over the next decade. And I mean it. We have estimated that two-thirds of the cost of reform to bring health care security to every American can be paid for by reallocating money that is simply being wasted in federal health care programs.

This includes more than one hundred billion dollars in unwarranted subsidies that go to insurance companies as part of Medicare - subsidies that do nothing to improve care for our seniors. We ought to take that money and use to actually treat people and cover people, not line the pockets of the insurers. I'm pleased that Congress has already embraced these proposals. And while they are currently working through proposals to finance the remaining costs, I continue to insist that health reform not be paid for on the backs of middle-class families.

In addition to making sure that this plan doesn't add to the deficit in the short-term

EDIT: Do yourself a favour and stop digging yourself a bigger hole.

Spending our way out of recession and expanding government is not going to make us into a third world country?

That's standard economic policy. Hardly radical to do what everyone has done for the past 70 years.

Phoenician, I'm really happy for you, imma let you finish, but Sidhe had one of the most dramatic exits of all time!

This is the most amazing thread ever.... by the end I was litterally hunched into a fetal position.

Also Joe Wilson has become an hero

Your damn right, in South Carolina he is the man, a patriot, if you will. He stands for everything these Obama maniacs, bots, surrogates, idiots, whatever your preference for calling them at the supper table, stand for. And he is certainly not rascist, just a delusioned view by some of those folks for Mr. Obama. Joe Wilson, also wants to run for president, he got like $700,000 in his campaign fund for calling Obama a liar.
:spear: Mister we have to defeat the taliban in Afghanistan. Thats a joke and it will never happen. Let em pull out, those people want a fight let em come here, we have plenty of bored rednecks around who would love a good fight. ;)

Sigh is right. It's already been shown that that did not prevent illegals from obtaining health coverage, allowed for too many loopholes, and enforcement was purposely left out of the bill.

What good is saying illegals can't get coverage, if you have no way to enforce it? Our other social institutions have ways of enforcing it.

That's why they worked on closing those loopholes and adding enforcement to the bill (which won't pass anyway). So you can quote that little part that says illegals can't get affordability credits all you want, because it does not mean what you think it means. Some people even call them "insurance subsidies", and that is closer to the truth than you may think.

I'd quote the actual part of the bill pertaining to affordability credits, but it's damned confusing.

EDIT: And here's a big thorn in the side of everyone pushing for enforcement of illegals in the bill: What's to stop Obama from giving amnesty? Sure, the bill might actually prevent illegals from getting government funding, but he can just give them amnesty and a fast track to citizenship, giving them access to our reformed health care and a nice voter base for his reelection.

Don't trust these sons of . .. .. .. .. .es in Washington!

EDIT: Why is that word censored? I hear it on TV all the time. What's with this forum.

Its useless just piling . .. .. .. . up for the sake of piling . .. .. .. . up. All of that is conspiracy theory bs. If your main complaints revolve around things that aren't actually part of the reform why do you oppose the reform? Be direct, if you think its wrong for anyone to come to a new country and become a citizen then oppose that if/when it comes up instead. Judge the reform bill on its own merits.

Side note: That those are all Libertarians was the the mouse over punchline of that xkcd comic above if I recall right.
