Modern Armored Fighting Vehicles

The M110s are awsome! Defintely in the top 5 of my favorites. Thanks

Hey Wyrm, a few machts nichts errors. The Grad and the Uragan have a Fort.flc but the INI is set to Fortify.flc. Also, both BTR-80 types are missing the Fortify.wav file.

That 8 inch gun is about as good as units get.

The big guns will look great in SOE, too. Though I did get thrown for a loop for a minute cause I was thinking of the 155 mm Howitzer M1 which looks totally different. You'd think they could have thought of some different numbers.

check the first page and the DB for some new/remakes.

Well that squeezes a tear of joy out of my ten years of service in german artillery ;) - thank you so much Wyrmshadow !
Although... something is missing and I'm afraid always will be - my good old RaKWrf 110SF LARS

Ares told me about the 110mm LARS, unfortunately that is one model I do not have.

I supposed that... hmm - but the Truck pulling Gwendoline's FH70 could be a start for a modification someday...(hope keeps you alive :D)
The LARS was a beauty of its own - especially in live fire weapon demonstration. The Range from (only) 6-14km made it possible in german training areas to fire a complete platoon ripple of 144 fragmentation rockets from outside positions to the front of the spectators, while synchronized firing a single launcher near the tribune outbound. The view and the acoustic for about 45seconds was always stunning.

That's good because I gave him that truck model.

to put it very simple - the difference between the MAN 7ton Truck and the LARS ist the exchange of the loading bay for the rocket launcher layer above the two axles and some stowing Boxes right behind the cabin.
The chassis itself remained quite unchanged

so then - here's hope!

Again, some units with excellent quality.

Like the camo a lot :)

Yeah, and there are 3 new modern army units in the db! [party]

BTW, EXCELLENT fireworks on the MLRSs

Happy New Year,

Oz

Those are the same animations as the old MLRS. It just took a while to replace all the textures for the German version, same goes for making the newer M113's and M-109's with new woodland textures.

Sometimes all it takes is a new frame to see something anew :)

So I'm adding these exact units using the green versions in a game the other day, thinking, 'man these are nice, too bad they're not in camo though'. Hours later, happily redoing my work. Good stuff.

I figured you didn't have a LARS model... just have to think of a suitable substitute. Other than Radar Artillery.

Wyrm I'm sure this has probably already been asked a dozen or so times, and I apologize in advance if it indeed has, but in lay terms what all is actually involved when changing the texture of an object? Are relatively simple color schemes that are all green or all desert considerably easier than a more complex scheme like a woodland pattern, or does it make no difference?
