Man, PIT just got stomped. I sure hope they don't turn this series around and I can feel proud for knowing that PHI would pull away a series win.

that flyers-pens game was one for the ages. unreal back and forth pace. jagr with the winner. giroux with a flyers playoff record 6 pts, coots w/ a hat trick.pens defense looked terrible. fleury looked lost. incredible b/c if you told me bryz would let in 5, i'd say no way they win. up 2-0 and to philly now

Awesome Flyers/Pens game! I really thought they were going to tie it, but Philly just kept hitting them until they fell. Nothing against the Pens, but I don't think they expected Philly to skate toe-to-toe with them the entire game.

Also, I'm off tomorrow so I can watch Game 3!

All i can still wish for is that the suspense will be worth some proverbial game 7's in at least these two series.

Poor Coyotes, I watched the last few minutes of the third where they missed on what was more or less two breakaways and then decided to dump the puck for a line change instead of try and hit the empty net.

That puck went in before the time ran out! Now it is still Predators 2-1 instead of a tied game going into the third. We'll well just have to score twice in the third.

EDIT: And Nashville scores a freak goal in the third. Score is 3-2, and the miracle never happens.

Nope... that puck was clearly crossing the blue area in front of Rinne while the clock shows 0:00. That's nearly a slim margin record for half-second or less replays proof.

I predict another 3-2 result in their fourth game in Detroit!

Wow, what a Flyers/Pens game! 133 penalty minutes, 7 gues (4 Flyers, 3 Pens) thrown out of the game! I think at the end, the Pens stopped caring about scoring and were just trying to raise their morale while knocking down Flyers' morale. We'll find out in Game 4 if it actually worked.

BTW, I know Fleury wasn't happy about being pulled, but it's actually a good idea. If the Pens manage to turn things around, they're going to need him rested and recovered.

That all being said, one more game, Flyers, and you can rest for a bit. Too bad I have to be up early the next day.
