None Shall Pass [Game Thread - Concluded]

Hahahah.

Wow. Same reaction from basically everyone I trust.

Dude's name is Choxorn.

choxorn.

Two things now that I've gotten to read back up. Unvote. I'm going to save my vote for the bullcrap role that pizza is referring to. Also, Pizza I say just reveal him and let it be taken care of

Didn't see the new posts as I was typing so Vote Choxorn for super bogus claims

Vote: choxorn

Even a mislynch here is worth the info. Seems as good as anything.

unvote: vote: choxorn. Though I'm somewhat surprised that a cultist had the audacity to claim something like that, his claim seems bogus, since it would make the setup highly unbalanced if it were true.

Also I've just been informed that cult susceptibility scanner guy didn't out himself. That makes the whole situation make a lot more sense to me.

He didn't claim, it seems like someone outed him to ATPG. Unless you're referring to his second claim.

Just want to say, he was scanned as having one of those powers, by someone, and then admitted having one of those powers privately to me.

So, some part of his story is true. Just don't know it makes him townie.

I don't want to reveal the guy who scanned him because THAT guy has a role that just screams townie to me.

Because I'm not a cultist, and everything I've claimed has been completely true.

Actually, I didn't really claim this in the first place to Pizza- some ability-scanner or something found out about my ability and told him.

So you can see if someone is convertable? And also protect them against conversions? That's a lot of power in 1 role. I could see both powers in 2 different roles...

The render people immune to conversion thing happened on its own. He volunteered that.

Then he just told me that he will die if he tries it on actual cultists.

It's just... all a bit hard to swallow.

Anyway, I defended him as much as I could, tried to present the cautionary side of the tale.

I couldn't even swallow all of it, though. Very difficult to.

Does anyone want to do a detective scan on him that is more conclusive?

I mean, if he's innocent he's so very dead as it stands.

Unfortunately that has the problem of trusting an anonymous detective. Easy enough for a cult to convert someone and force them to pretend to be one.

- Me.

Anyway, his claim is ridiculous I almost think its worth letting him live for today. And getting a detective on him (which we surely have in a cult game).

Its such a weird claim, at least the second part.

What if you reveal him and leave his fate to the cults? If he's town, then either neither or both of them will want him dead (not like we care either way), and if he's not, then only one will go in for the kill, thereby using one of their night actions.
H he might be convertible....

My take on it is the person is useful in identifying who is not convertible.

I am taking a rather pathetic neutral point while I think it through. However leaning towards BL side of thinking.

Also speaking of BL. It is most amusing to see him commenting about Palpatine.

unvote, vote: choxorn. Either the game is more absurd than expected, or choxorn's lying. I'm leaning towards the latter.

unvote; vote: choxorn

Scummy role in a multi-cult game, no way we can let him live. Even if we have trackers/watchers/whatever following him tonight, there will be too many people visiting him to get any information out of it IMO.

This is everything you need to know about my role:

1. I'm from the LOTR Town. If you want, I can give you exactly who I am, but it probably doesn't matter.
2. I'm unconvertible.
3. I can scan people for their susceptibility to conversion. This will be "Yes" for presumably a good number of Townies, "No" for Cultists and other unconvertible townies.
4. I can make someone else unconvertible. If they're a member of the LOTR town, this succeeds. If they're a member of the Star Wars Town, this does nothing. If they're a member of either cult, I die.
5. I can't use both of my abilities on the same night.
6. I don't know what happens if I my second ability on someone on the same night as they get converted, but if someone gets converted on the same night that I scan them, my scan happens first, and probably gives me "Can be converted"

Having said all that, If I was cult, why the hell would I possibly expect to get away with claiming something like this? I already knew I'd been scanned to find the Susceptibility ability, I would assume that an ability-scanner would get all of my abilities, not just one of them. Saying I have another ability that this scanner didn't find would be stupid. Your reaction proves this- you weren't as much after me before I claimed the ability, but once I did, literally everyone piled on me.

And sure, I could be WIFOM'ing, but really, have you ever known me to act like a colossal moron when I'm anti-townie to look townie? That's not my style.

Besides, I'm going to get killed tonight anyway. Even if I was cult the opposing cult would never let me live.

Go lynch someone who's actually acting suspicious, like G3TC.

Unvote, Vote: Gone 3 The Celt
