Yah but was he an Illian convert or an Illian converter?
I scanned him, and yes, he is innocent.
And we don't know whether they were converts or originals, just that we don't want Autolycus dead.

A long, hard day had been the fate of the men today. It seemed like they were just walking along a long stretch of snow-filled land, which all looked the same to them. It almost felt like the night took several days to come, as the men were dead tired after the march.
There had been only one man who drew the scrutiny of the rest of the Company; this was the Mounted Axeman, Autolycus. But despite the fact that a lot of people wanted to see his death, there were also several men who sprung up in his defence. The men could not agree with each other, but the voices that cried for his death outnumbered those that wanted him to live. In all the mess, it seemed like some were looking at the new Captain to give the decision.
"He dies." The Adventurer had made his mind up. Two men went out to fetch the Mounted Axeman, and read him his death sentence. As he listened, the Mounted Axeman hung his head in shame, as he knew he had been wrong from the very beginning of his mission.
"I fear the rumours are true. I have been working with the Illian agents, because I had been made an offer by them. I thought I had everything covered, but it seems I have been mistaken. But I may yet help you! I will help you with finding and destroying the remaining forces that seek your death! I wish to return back to your side now that the others have died!"
"No, I fear there is no path back for you." The sword was swung, and the Mounted Axeman was no more.
In his tent, the men found Illian coins; a payment he had received from the Shadow. It was thus shown that
Another of Mulcarn's agents had fallen; the third in two days! The mood had by now visibly lifted; so much of the culprits had been caught, that they thought that they could handle the rest of them. The Adventurer received the Mithril Sword, and the Green Flask went to the Hunter.

The Illian lands seemed to wane away. The snow had become less and there were even some traces of green vegetation among the tents. The journey to get them out of the Illian peril was obviously progressing.
There had been another murder during the night though.
Similar to the scene that showed after the death of the Berserker, the Charioteer was now found dead. He had been hacked apart with a sword and there was no life left in him. There was no trace that he had tried to defend himself - it had all been in vain. He had been loyal to the Company, much like many others.
The men went on. They could not stop to mourn, especially now that the harsh weather was taking a day off.
It is now day! Thread is open again!
Night comes in 48 hours!

Otherwise, I'll be forced to do this the hard way, and believe me, you don't want me doing this the hard way..."
