Have we identified what tag is being used that's causing the text to come up? That'd be a start. From there I can figure out where it's being loaded into the dll and track it down to where the programming isn't working correctly.

It is done somewhere in the dll. It is assuming that spies get base points from GGs and the like when they don't.

On related topic, my entertainers are getting far too many exp and have the wrong set of promotions available to them. They should not be getting exp from GGs either.
 
You need to do a Cleanup command (under the Tortoise SVN options you get when right clicking on the repository file) to clear up locks.

Just did that and its seems to be downloading fine now thanks.
 
Still having an CTD, but this time it happened WHILE fighting the Vikings??

SVN 4967 No Vp

mini and autosavedgame included , this one IS repeatable, i cant continue with the game at all since these last SVN.


EDIT:
Ok narrowed it down when fighting against the Vikings, it went to the Gladiator and poof CTD. (2nd one same game)

Surely if something is being displayed, there's a tag in use that's getting that display to trigger. As for points from GGs... don't they award to all units that can get any xp at all? I recall someone saying they'd made a change to this but I've not been able to follow or get caught up on exactly what was done there.

Spies never got exp from GGs.
 
Changes to viewport settings have no effect until the game is restarted. Are you saying that if you turn them off, then exit the game and restart they are still on?

That's right.
 
BUG Settings sometimes don't save correctly. Often a game needs to be saved twice to make them stick.
 
It is my first attempt at using the auto build function. I wonder if I have it wrong?

@anyone I am saying auto build if the Jewish Shrine has been built by this nation and the city has a Jewish temple. Is this a valid use of auto build?

With today´s svn and Books and Scriptures activated I don´t get save errors so far. There are 3 points that strike me, though:

  1. Do you mean that the holy books should only be auto-built? They do show up in the city list though, as long as the holy building (e.g. Solomon´s Temple) has not been built, but maybe that is as intended. The Sevopedia only talks about auto-build.
  2. In the Sevopedia you can read that the Holy Books are replaced by themselves. How could that be?
  3. Sevopedia of "Holy Book - Judean (Tanakh)" says that it requires 2 Temples of Solomon (difficult to achieve :D ).

Added later: The save errors came back after a few turns and I had to deactivate Books and Scriptures.

When there is a holy book there are two buildings for it, both with the same name. One you can build and one you get free if you build the Holy Shrine. The one you can build upgrades to the one that is free to stop you building any more when you do build the Shrine and have the temple in your city. Both have the same stats, a small reduction in crime. Religions without holy books get the reduction in crime on the cathedral or similar.

Anyway this is a modmod so bugs for it should be put in my religion modmod thread instead of here. :D

Probably because there is no image for it. Someone should provide one or I could remove it.:mischief:

Even if this building sis not active, it increase my local unstability

Definitely a bug, I wonder what other buildings do similar maybe with the other properties.
 
I downloaded today's SVN and the viewport problem is fine again... no idea what caused it, though...
 
Maybe moe a WTH than a bug..
In a big island, a barbarian city was alone... With more than 250 units inside!
They dont have a max? Even If I can destroy 2/turn, that will be a very long siege...
 
I am going to assume my game has had too many recalcs and upgrades - I am getting a new tech every 2-3 turns on snail and I have only just got writing:eek:
 
the Rogues still have Horrible automated killing. Infact they dont kill anything, just roam around NEAR the borders, which i dont like either??? Does this need alot of AI work or what??

Even if you put them on autoplay, they dont do much at all??:sad:
