Is it just me then? :D

This was just an unanswered question I felt like repeating.

I also have another one, though this is not so much about the game, but about the forums. Is there any "official" thread for the soundtrack discussion? I sort of feel like I didn't have enough space in the elimination game format :D

I have never paid attention to the thing with wonders...

As for the soundtrack, if there's no thread you can find, I'd say make one.

I'd say, build an airstrip on the non-capital continent and see if you get the boost.

I did end up building an airstrip on a small island outside an AI city borders, but I didn't get the Combined Arms boost for some reason. I usually get both the Combined Arms and Rapid Deployment boosts at the same time, at least that's what I aimed for. Had to bring my guy all the way back to my continent and build another airstrip in the snow to get the combined arms boost.

Anyone know what happens if you run out of governor promotions? I'm worried that might happen in my current game, and worried it will make my game unfinishable. I'm conquering the world in the information era after staying small the entire game. Only conquest victory is enabled. I suppose if I had to, I could aim for just the capitals and try to get them all at once. But for now I'll continue my world conquest. I still haven't picked up Moksha yet, so I still have time. All these future civics are giving me a lot of promotions.

I notice all the time, that when I build a wonder, the city expands.

I have never seen this

In a military emergency, if I'm the only who is in it and I sign the peace I lost automatically the emergency? or it will be still on and I can declare war after some turns again to complete the objetives and win the emergency?

Eith: Just tested it and the emergency is still on

If I understand correctly how emergency works, you need to achieve the objective in the specified number of turns. Before it runs out, you can do whatever you want.

The Religious Emergency objective says 'the city must not follow the religion X for Y turns'. But what happens if I convert the target to my religion (which is different from the religion of the city owner)? In the normal situation that would... trigger a religious emergency, wouldn't it?

It counts turns it follows religion X and counts turns it doesn't follow religion X, and then if after the amount of turns the emergency lasts less than Y turns it has followed religion X, the emergency has succeeded, I believe.

Just try it out, I would say.

No, I mean, I understand how the emergency works, just I can't convert the target to its original religion, if it wasn't my Holy City, which is kind of funny because it makes me do exactly the same thing which has caused the emergency :D

My ignorance (up front) on how to post a new question to this thread...

Are there preferred resources to download hexagonal graph paper that players use for city planning? I'd like the ability to label various hexs to help me plan where to put districts, wonders, farms etc.

Does anybody do this? Is there a forum or discussion thread where this is discussed?

Thanks for your patience as I think I just inserted myself into a thread in trying to start a new topic...

Am envisioning some hexagonal-type graph paper to document a city’s attributes to help me plan city improvements like farms, districts, etc. as I learn the game. As I’m learning the game I’m finding (after the fact) that w/better planning I could have done a much better job of laying out my city.

Tks,
David

Best thing you can probably do is indeed add map pins. At the bottom left, above the minimap, there are several options. One of them (I believe the third from the left) allows you to place and name pins on the map, so that you can write down in the game itself where you want certain districts and the like.

I am not aware of anything to download specifically for this purpose, though you can probably find some hexagonal print if you just google it.

I used this graphs to visualize (theoretical) city borders:

Is there a limit to the number of relics you can get from apostles dying in theological combat? I built Mont St. Michel but it seems like they stopped giving me relics after a while.

Since I'm new I assume anything I don't understand is a feature and not a bug, but I haven't been able to find anything on this one. The thing I'm stuck on is free meeting houses.

I am playing Russia and founded a religion but I didn't pick a religious building. However, I conquered Arabia and now have a bunch of cities in my empire with Islam, and they are able to build meeting houses.

The thing is that a meeting house costs 190 production, but if I buy it with faith, the cost is 0, which seems quite wrong. I've done this in multiple cities and I keep getting them for free. I am currently in theocracy but needless to say I am not getting a 100% discount. What's going on here?

This sounds like a bug to me, and I think it comes from interplay between Theocracy (15% discount on purchases with faith) and Arabia's unique ability (Worship building from Arabia's religion can be purchased by any player at 1/10th the usual cost, so a 90% reduction) together giving a 105% reduction eg free purchases.

I'd say, make a post in the bug report forum with a screenshot and this explanation.

Whats the best earth TSL larger/massive map mod that's compatible with R&F?
