Well, imagine Mexico declared war against the USA and then Mexico lost half its territory through violent conquest. And then the USA burned a major Mexican city to the ground and left everyone living there homeless and scattered. Certainly the world wouldn't view that in high regard, especially the Mexicans. It ceases being a defensive war when you start invading other countries too, even though in your eyes it's considered "fair retaliation".

And having to cede things when someone has a gun pointed at you isn't considered a gift too.

About that warmongering thing, see if it isn't for "occupying one of their cities". Maybe it's also because of the razed city. But all in all, expect her to be a bitter enemy now. It could be reversed if you just killed her troops, since I was a Declared Friend to someone that tried to invade me (and didn't bother to go after them because I already had some 18 cities and didn't see the need for more).

Australia itself is a DLC, and apparently isn't available for Mac and Linux yet. The Australia Summer Update, AFAIK, is the balance patch.

Australia is only available as a DLC. If you bought the Digital Deluxe edition of the game, you automatically get the first 4 DLC (Australia is the third DLC). If you just bought the regular game, you will need to purchase the Australia DLC to play Australia.

Yes, there were also modifiers for occupying one of her cities and for the razed city of her, but additionally to those two I received the most severe -48 modifier for my warmongering. p.s.: by the way, that warmongering modifier has subsided over time. I think it will go away completely in future, but those other two will stay forever:)

Does Geneva's suzerain bonus, "Your cities earn +15% bonus Science output when you are not at war with any civilization." apply when you're only in war with a city state ?
 
City-states are "minor civilizations" in the game, so probably not. But feel free to test it and report back.
 
1. What are "district defenses"?
2. It seems that a city-state I am suzerain of waged a war with a civ I am neutral with. I know that such a city-state will immediately declare war on a civ I am at war with. But can the neutral civ feel free to attack that city-state?
 
Not quite sure what your question is, but, as you note, being suzerain of a CS does mean that the CS is dragged into your wars. However, it isn't a reciprocal relationship -- your being suzerain does not make that CS immune from attack by other civs and you are not drawn into the CS's defensive wars.

It's the defense of a City Center or an Encampment when a unit attacks them. Boosts against them (for example, from certain promotions) means they're more effective attacking cities and Encampments.
 
Does anyone know the difference between flanking and support bonuses for combat units? I have found some information on that but it differs on different sources.
 
In the tech tree, late game projects such as the space race ones, have the same symbol around them -as referred to in the key in the attached picture- as wonders do. They aren't technically wonders though right? They don't get a boost from the social policy sky scrapers which boosts late game wonder construction...?

Can you build a district on a 4th tile from city center ? I think of it for a neighbourhood.

4th ring out? No... Your city stretches 3 tiles out of the city center.

No, they're considered projects.
 
Where i can found information about next Civilization 6 updates and new upcoming DLC ?
This information is important to me because i plan to mod Civilization 6.
