My capital has been converted to Catholicism (foreign religion). But I do not understand why I still have a so high habitations. In my religion Esperencia I receive a bonus of 2 habitation for each holy site next to a river.
That is from your pantheon belief, River Goddess. You keep your pantheon belief no matter what religion the city has been converted to.

Now I should have only the aqueduc (+2) and still my total habitation bonus for district is 4.

More over I don't understand why my habitation for buildings is 5 while I only have the palace (+2).
You're playing as Rome and Rome does not have Acqueducts, but a unique replacement district: Bath. It gives the same Acqueduct bonuses plus 2 more housing and 1 amenity. Your city is on a river, so from the Bath you get 2+2 housing and 1 more from the palace for the grand total of 5 housing from the buildings.

I try to convert this city to my religion. I have used many charges and still nothing happened. Does it mean it is impossible to convert it or should I continue spamming missionaries ?
edit - i continued spamming and finally my city was converted. It was very long though for a 1 population city.

Thanks. So in the picture where I have an habitation problem, my bath does not seem to be destroyed but it last only the bonus of the palace.

Moreover it is strange that the bath his not count as districts but as buildings.

Yeah, I mixed that up, 4 housing from Bath comes as housing from districts (quartiers).
Check, whether Catholicism has picked Feed the World belief, looks like it was from there.

As for that 1 pop city conversion, that was a lot of wasted effort, as it was in the middle of pressure from more populous cities, so it was immediately pressured back. Would have been more efficient to start from Ngazargamu and Mediolanum.

I've just noticed that in building a wonder, apparently I've built an "old world wonder" according to the notification. Has the game been defining them more specifically for long?

Why do I have 18 production ? I have 3 dams (+6), one strategic res (+1), one wood chopping (+0.5), one adjacency district (+0.5). And a card that double it => +16.

6 from dams, 1 from strategic and 2 from 4 adjacent districts (yes, counted again as simple district adjacency), that makes 9 doubled to 18. You can mouse over the cog icon in the Empire lens to see the tooltip with all adjacencies listed.
You don't get 0.5, it is either 2 lumbermills or 2 mines for 1 adjacency, or nothing if just one of them, or just one of each.

Why can not build a dam there ? I have checked that my city has the citizen of this tile.
You already have a dam on that river just north of Rome. There can only be one dam per river.

Since the start (for Historic Moments)

Is there anyway to have embarked units stay embarked when passing through canals or under the Golden Gate Bridge? It seems they always want to climb up onto the land rather than stay in their boats.

The name of the river when i moused over the tile where i wanted to build the dam is different from the one where the Rome's dam was built.

Idk, it looks like the same river to me. And that tile is on the confluence of two rivers, which is always tricky. A dam hex must have two adjacent sides touching the same river. I see that it probably has only one side on the river from the left, that runs through Antium. And then probably two sides (difficult to tell from the picture) on that long south-to-north river that already has a dam on it downstream, past Rome.

The tile has two sides of the left river.

What is the empire lens ?

edit - I think I have found it it is in city information/districts

Bottom left, above the minimap there are a few icons, I suggest you try them all out. The first one opens up a few lenses, including the Empire lens, to see the adjacencies of specialty districts.

When you chop does the production you get is used for the next building if there is more that you need for the first ?

Short answer - yes, but if you use some production boosting policy cards, overflow got complicated post-GS.
Here's another short answer, and if you have patience, you may read that entire thread.

What are all the ways to improve visibility?

I know that you can improve your level agaisnt another civ with an spy, sending an embassy and with Goddard GP, but are they other ways?
I'm pretty interested as some of them are lost (I think) when you declare war, as with the embassy.

After playing with mongols I have discovered how useful the visilibity is!
