Hi Guys,

I'm playing Civ Gathering Storm on my switch. And I can't find the option to send international trading routes. When I'm sending my units to a new route there are only the routes to my own cities. Is it my fault?

Thanks for your help

It depends, are you playing as Portugal? Or are you on an island and haven't researched embarking tech? Most of the time it should let you form international routes but there are a couple cirmsyances where you can't.

Check if the filter hasn’t been set to Own Cities only, in the TR destinations tab, top left iirc. You can choose different filters there.

Yes I'm playing as Portugal. Isn't it possible to send those routes as Portugal? Or do I need additional buildings or research?

As Portugal, the recipient city has to have a harbour or have the centre on the coast. Only domestic routes can be overland. Obviously I don't know your setup, but I'm 90% sure that's your problem - you're looking at landlocked cities, which can't receive your trade routes. It's a malus to counterbalance your pretty insane trade bonuses and Navigation School. You need to either stay domestic or find cities that are on the coast or at least have harbours.

Hi! Wishing all the Civ'ers out there a great day. 😎
I was wondering: Does anyone here know of any "A Song Of Ice And Fire" / "Game Of Thrones" mod that is actually being kept up to date and compatible with the latest version of Civ6? Years ago, there were some interesting, if often buggy*, mods that tried to recreate the G.R.R. Martin World to varying degrees.
(* Chaos is a ladder 😬)
Some custom maps were available, and I was a sucker for all of it, since even before all this, I'd sometimes start a new game and just name my cities after ASOIAF cities, trying to imagine "if this was Westeros, this would likely be the place where... hmm... Highgarden would be"...
There was a very detailed and in-depth mod of Crusader Kings 4 which did a great job of it (despite CK4's inherent limitations imo), and I remember year-long rumors about some great Civ6 mod being worked on.
Now, with the successful launch of House Of Dragons, I thought there might be renewed interest since an additional generation of "new fans" joining the many existing ones hoping for such a Civ6 mod...
As far as I know, "A Civ of Ice and Fire V1.1.0 Gathering Storm" was the last attempt, last updated over 3.5 years ago. Does anyone have any (GOOD!!..🙏) news on this front, or a Civ Modder they know & trust to forward this question to? I'd be SO grateful for any feedback! Thanks!

I got a great admiral and it spawned in a one-tile-lake two tiles away from my capital. Completely useless. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Do you have a city on that lake? Move the admiral on the city centre tile and then you can teleport it out of there to anoter city/harbour of yours.

Does anyone know if all the map types like continents, highlands, etc are updated to create Gathering Storm compatible maps in Civ 6 GS, or do they create maps for the standard rules (the original, base game)?

I don´'t know but this has to be the best question I have heard in ages

Build you capital to coast and make sure there are no one tile lakes
Wow, I probably would not have figured that out myself. However, there might be some other things to consider when settling the capital (like access to resources, defensibility, fresh water...)

You would after 1000 hours of playing but now you got instant answer

How do I have to configure my game options so that the mouse scroll wheel works when the production window of a city is on the screen? After the DLC my scroll wheel only zooms in and out of the map but does not work in menus like the production window any more.

I'm actually having the exact same issue. All the city menus refuse to scroll, it's just zooming in and out of the map, even the tech/civic tree is jacked.

I literally just created a thread in the general discussion about it. My scroll suddenly stopped working, it just zoom the map even where it should scroll things.

I learned in a Twitch stream yesterday that the source of the mouse wheel problem is a bug in the mod "Sukritact's simple UI adjustments". We will have to wait for an update or deactivate the mod for the time being.
