My sweetie came home from work carrying PIZZA!!!
Not too bad of an "ouch", I hope?I just flipped my computer chair. While I was in it. Ouch.
No, you're not.I'm an idiot.![]()
What are you campaigning for?We knocked 135 doors today and have only 43 to do the entire day tomorrow!
Live or taped. Live television is still exciting for just that reason.
Hahahahahaha!
No.
There's no good place to start picking at that, you're not correct. They do call it Family Planning though, maybe that was the confusing bit.

Yeah, me neither. Last time was Halloween 50 years ago.I haven't done that in a long time.

Bummer. The Internet is unforgiving.I've made mistakes (at another forum) where I forgot what window I was in and I posted something very personal in a public thread that I meant to be part of a private conversation. And before I could delete my post, someone quoted me and so my humiliation was irreversible.

I read that today as the first unread post and thought that was an actual rave. Then I saw my post above.Democrats to win elections in the state of Pennsylvania.
Case in point:I post in the wrong thread too, sometimes even after checking which thread it is!
As Valka said, try and get those posts deleted, or shifted to the appropriate thread if the forum's software allows it.I've made mistakes (at another forum) where I forgot what window I was in and I posted something very personal in a public thread that I meant to be part of a private conversation. I will fix shoes if fixing involves putting in new insoles or maybe taping the back of the heel on the inside when I rub through the material. But shoes that are fixed this way aren't long for the world and maybe last another month or two.Well, yeah, fast-fashion hamster people. I can go with that part, but, seriously, who gets sneakers fixed?
This is an excellent book! This time I found something on my wishlist, a book I haven't seen at so many used bookstores - Rendezvous with Rama by Arthur C. Clarke. In great condition for $2!!! Somebody borrowed my copy decades ago and I always check if a bookstore has it, and nobody ever does.. until I decided to step into my local goodwill, after so many years of not going there!!
Give this woman a medal! My sweetie came home from work carrying PIZZA!!!
This is an excellent book!
It's a rotating strike, which means they take turns over which cities' workers are off for 24 hours. Edmonton was on strike a few days ago, and I think Calgary is either today or tomorrow. This probably explains why my Etsy order isn't here yet. I have another Etsy order scheduled, and the seller sent me a nice email thanking me for the order and saying she hopes it won't arrive too late due to the strike (she's somewhere in the eastern U.S.). The first order is the one I'm concerned about as it's a gift for someone. The other two are ACEO cards for my collection and they can take their time. The book I ordered came in the mail ahead of the expected delivery date! I thought Canada Post was supposed to be on strike.
