I desperately hope this happens for me tonight. Although it won't.

The start of the spring 2011 semester had ~3 days off due to a few inches of snow. Atlanta shuts down with even a little dusting.

And tonight the forecast gives some small hope of ice!

GOD BLESS YOU, JACK FROST! Mind you, "this" is just cold temps. We didn't get jack for snow worth mentioning. Kind of a weenie decision, but it means a day off for me, so I'm not complaining.

Text from boss lady: "Not going out in this so you don't have to either. See you tomorrow."

Got a good bit of snow here. Various sources say it's a few degrees below zero (Fahrenheit) and feels colder with the wind chill; people were refusing to go outside. I dressed appropriately, shoveled and scraped hard for three hours, and felt warmer out there than inside with normal clothing. I love winter.

One of my roommates moved in with a frat brother, so I'm going to be living in a triple with only one other dude. It's not exactly spacious per se, but it's a welcome improvement.
