Request a "ask a"!

Ask a teacher. I think one of the members is already a teacher.

I could myself answer to "ask a buddhist", "ask an indigo child".

I've done brain surgery in animals!

Also, El Mac expressed an interest in "ask a guy who occupied his uni during the 2010/2011 UK Student Protests", but I'm not comfortable doing so unless I see a bit more interest.

Yeah, I don't know how to do that without too much "suggesting illegal activity". Ask a 'social activist' would be really interesting ....

Paradigm Shifter keeps wanting me to do "Ask a Christian Scientist", but I don't think I'm really up to it.

It's not illegal. It's covered under civil law, and thus is not an "illegal activity", but a complaint between two separate parties at the behest of one.

We should have an Ask a Hypocrite thread. Because every single one of the other threads could then be merged into it.

Well, yours specifically might have been legal. But I find the entire topic fascinating. I associate it with getting arrested, but I'm mainly thinking about eco-activism

The activity in itself is not illegal in most circumstances, in the UK.

I'm sure you'd love to try. :)

There's a lot of things I could say about Christian Science but I won't in the interest of civil conversation. I'll simply say that its considered a cult by basically every orthodox Christian group...

@Random- When I said "Ask an Orthodox", *hint* I may have wanted you to take a peek *hint*

I'm flattered, but I've only been to three Orthodox liturgies in my life, I've never been formally catechized, never partaken of any Orthodox sacraments, etc. At this point I'm really just a teenager with more interest in and knowledge of Orthodox thought and practice than moast, so I really don't think I'm qualified. It'd be nice if Tekee were still here so he could start it, although he probably wouldn't be the best spokesman for Orthodoxy.

I was raised in Christian Science, yes. Oh, and kindly keep words like "cult" for less polite surroundings, please. That's not helpful at all.

Did we have ask a buddhist yet? I know we had ask a Hindu.

Do you consider yourself an "indigo child" & do you believe in the distinction or did your folks just raise you that way?

I can do a "Ask a person who graduated from the #1 high school in America" along with another person.
My high school is probably better.

@Arakhor: Please do create an "Ask a Christian Scientist" thread. I've looked at the Wikipedia article and I've never really understood it.

Religion: A cult large enough to have political power.

Ask a Galactic Emperor

Ask a Mad Arab that wrote a book called Al Azif and was vapourised one day in Damascus

Ask a Roman Emperor that reigned between 12 and 41 AD

That is just because you bought off the rating agency.:p
