Well, since some of the posters have posted explanations regarding their signatures (coughperfectioncough), Imma follow their lead.

My sig is compromised of 2 quotes. The 1st's origin is complicated, but it is about Severus Snape the second one is from one of my fav book series: The Tawny Man trilogy. It's a quote by the Fool. (yes, that's his name)

So I now have a swedish line:Känslan av att jorden kryper, växer. That is an awesome song and the sentence is made by the wordbender Thomas Öberg, singer in the band Bob Hund and this sideproject SciFiSkåne. These people are about the only good things from Skåne.

Anyway the translation is: The feeling that the earth shrinks, grows.

Now, it might not be so wise not to provide a translation to that, considering it could be exactly the kind of thing that the old rule was trying to prevent from happening. I don't know about you, but in English, Romanian, or German, when I get pissed off, I personally use swearwords.

Yeah, but the thing is that we use our words differently and that they have different meanings of "controversy" in different contexts.

You could say, "Jävlar, vilken snygging!" which means "Damn, what a hottie!" but you could also use it to replace the F-word in the sentence "F-word (present progressive form) d-word head".

So yeah, it depends really on how you use it.

Warpus added it to his sig, I saw it and thought, "hey, that's pretty funny! Maybe I should add 'formerly known as Mise' to my sig". Then I thought it would be funnier if I literally copied it, and put 'formerly known as Warpus' in my sig instead. So I did. I guess others thought the same thing.
