Single Player bugs and crashes - After the 16th of May

Yes it is just the Story Teller line that has no missions. They only have one mission but two outcomes.

The "waiting for civs" bug is making it hard to test.

Yes the WfC bug is making life difficult at the moment.

Edit when I press end of turn before getting the WfC bug I get the attached errors. The first and second come up frequently.

First and third are essentially harmless (still need tracking eventually, but have always been common). The second however is HIGHLY likely to be leaving to CTDs and should be investigated ASAP
 
I don't know if it has been reported yet but the recalc after update of SVN made me lose a settled Great General in one of my conquered cities

GG was settled by AI before i got the city and I was able to use its 2 xp until recalc when it was suddenly gone.
 
can we pls change to a newer graphics for the guide, its the same as a scout, i believe?? Hard to tell them apart when going to attack?? (pic2)

I have added an entry for all the animals help tag. I just have not done the text yet. It needs to list the buildings they can build and I am changing that at the moment. Well after I get the Captives slavery stuff up and working.

Ok, I found an autosave before the recalc and I can confirm the bug.

Instructions:

Load the save but don't recalc yet - if you center viewport to Karakorum city and enter it, you will see the great military instructor.

If you do shift ctrl T, the great military instructor is gone.


Note: I think - but I am not quite sure - this was also the autosave that was created the same turn I experienced a WfC bug and had to shut down civ via taskmanager.
I then decided to update my SVN (the save has the June, 19th SVN)
and when I loaded the autosave +recalced I was able to continue when several turns later I experienced the missing military instructor when the townwatchman I built didn't have the 17 xp for riot control 5 like the last one :eek:
 
Another minidump, just next turn and CTD then this: this was my last one i had that hasn't CTD, so i am presently DEAD in the water . . .

This is from SVN 5599. The last 3 SVN updates I've done I have the same problem. Everything appears to start fine, but as soon as I press enter to end the first turn, it crashes to desktop with no error message. I attached the dump and save.

I've been getting the WFC loop frequently (2-3 times per turn), not sure how much information you have on it, but the more the better I figure.

I've attached two logs that exhibit infinite looping behavior. I ran tested three times, with the same result, save that twice the randomLogger jammed on a city other than Burgundian. Looks like a barbarian city is trying to decide to make a worker, but can't make up it's mind.
 
When i try to load a game, says "A leader are not avaiable" and crash the game. I think its because a svn update delete the leaderhead.
 
SVN 5640: Throwing many XML errors while loading, regarding the files:
Code:
Tag: XYZ in Info class was incorrect (where XYZ are several Tags)
Current XML file is: xml\Civilizations/CIV4LeaderHeadInfos.xml
Current XML file is: xml\Civilizations/CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml
Current XML file is: modules\Custom_Civilizations\Iroquois\Iroquois_CIV4CivilizationInfos.xml
(the strange slashes are to ignore, those might be caused by my system)

EDIT: at the fourth time starting no errors of that anymore ? strange. Instead when trying to load a game, a Leader is not there anymore, no substitution can be found -> CTD

1. So I have my workers automated and they decided to plant a new forest. That's fine. However they planted it on a Peak! :eek: This not only should not be possible but looks wrong too.

2. When upgrading my Medic to an Ambulance the bottom UI that has things like Fortify, Sleep, Explore, etc was all messed up. I could kill the unit but that was about it. It would show me that it could upgrade to the last unit I clicked on. But when you clicked on it it would do nothing. Since I could not put the unit to sleep or anything else I ended up having to kill the units so I could go to the next turn.

I Think this update crash the savegames.

That is because we have usable mountains. The new forest mod needs to be turned off. It has too many problems. It all comes down to there being no way to say what terrains and features can not have this built on.

Yeah I'm having the same problem.

Also I seem to have a problem with production. Sometimes my production will miss a turn. The turn will go through but the production in one city or sometimes more will not happen. It seems to be random and I can't reproduce it (reloading usually resolves the problem).

I also can't get past this point in my current game. Just press enter and end turn and CTD.

This was possible to do in AND as well... I don't see a problem with it. Most Mountains have quite a bit of forest surrounding their base and I don't feel a tile is really quite the width of the base so I see it as the Forest has been planted in that tile as much as a forest can be. Unless it's been changed, forests could be on peak tiles all along can they not?
