They're just placeholders as was supposed by a responder. The art references in these cases is never used but in case they are ever called in the future I put a placeholder in there to as to make sure there'd be something there in case.

The promotionlines in question are not for promos but rather for traits. And we don't have a pedia page for promotionlines themselves, nor do I think its really necessary to.
 
I had a successful attack of my raft with a barbarian raft and after this I immediately get the strange message that I lost my hunter 2 promotion (see attached image of the message).

I can provide a savegame before and after the attack if you are interested.

Edit: I am on current SVN.
And maybe the message is not as strange as I thought, maybe the new sea hunter promotions were introduced while I played this game and updated the SVN...

I get a repeatable CTD when I want to promote my raft to Sea Hunter III. Savegame and minidump are attached.

Edit: I also get CTDs that are non-repeatable at the end of a turn. I guess that a unit would get an automatic Sea Hunter promotion there. It is not repeatable as I have new seed on reload activated.

Some where recently we have lost the city rally point. You can set it by clicking on the city bar then right-click the plot for that city's units to rally at, but when you build a unit it does not go to the rally point:(
 
Updated to SVN 5689 still CTD at Eot but this time running man ran for about 15-20 seconds instead of instant CTD after clicking Red EoT button.

Mini attached. Save same as already posted.

Going to try 2 things:
1st going to double save this turn and see if I can proceed (worked before).
2nd if 1 fails will lower setting to 1 from 4 for City Pipelines, A New Dawn Global defines file.

EDIT: Did 2nd 1st and can proceed. So lowering to 1 allows advancement.

The dump sadly doesn't have anything useful in it - is it a 100% reproducible crash? If so could I have a couple more sample dumps please

I can reproduce this, so I'll look into it later. Tentatively I think it's a graphical issue with that specific promotion, but I'll confirm later.

It would also be useful if you could post a minidump from the erratic end-of-turn crash you get (in case it's NOT the same thing, as there is known to be an outstanding end-of-turn crash not yet pinned down)

It CTD 3 consecutive times before I posted the save and 2 of the MiniDumps. (see link below) Which have not been viewed yet.

I'll reset it up and try again here in a bit. On my old comp at the moment in my workshop.

I have a feeling that it is the same thing as I know that there was a fish willing to attack my raft which could have lead to the promotion and the CTD. Here is the mindump anyway:

Nope, not the same thing (probably anyway). Unfortunately the dump (like Joseph's) is uninformative as to the actual cause.

What is your CPU (how many cores)?

The first two are uninformative (crash somewhere anonymous inside the main game engine), but the third contain useful looking clues. I will have something for you to try later this afternoon (check the SVN thread from time to time).

Meanwhile can you confirm that you are using viewports (or aren't if that is the case)...

Also, I have pinned down and fixed your SEA_HUNTER3 crash.

@DH - the issue with the promotion is the layer animation. Changing that to NONE solves the problem - I'll check that change in as an interim fix to remove the crash, but you may want to take a closer look if you want there to be an animation (there isn't on SEA_HUNTER2 for example)
 
VP CTD only

I tried to go as far to the right as possible in VP, but then i clicked on those 2 "white arrows" for checking your city, it CTD'ed. (right one)

Is the 'city arrow' CTD reproducible? If so can you tell me exactly what you have to do to get the viewport set 'as far right as [possible' and also what viewport size you were using please.

just move as far right as you can with your mouse, then click on the right arrow. I didnt check if reproducible, thats when it CTD's after sorry. 60X60

Also, there is a DDS file missing??

Minidump suggests there was no 'look at plot' set (a game engine concept), which probably means the exact way you scrolled right is critical. When you say 'move as far right as you can with the mouse' do you mean 'click to the right' 'click and drag' or just 'move mouse without clicking'? If the last of these what was selected before you did this?

All i did was move my mouse with my right hand, moving it as far RIGHT as i could in the INGAME screen, because i thought it would change screens, but i didnt realize it was ALREADY far right as it could go, then i just right clicked on the arrow button, thats when it CTD, sorry for not explaining better.
