Single Player bugs and crashes - After the 16th of May

In the SVN (ok, one from a few days ago, technically) my Italian archers seem to have the wrong graphics. The graphics showing appear to be for some form of slinger, so far as I can tell.

I'm afraid I forgot to take a screenshot before closing the game, though, and don't have time to reopen it now. I'll try to remember next time I play.

Do you have the graphics set to "low"?
 
When I researched Archaeology the newsfeed showed that I had discovered ancient relics near 2 of my cities. I was super excited because I have always wanted to build the Rosetta Stone wonder. But in my goods list and in the civopedia it showed that I have no ancient relics. In previous games I also never have found ancient relics. What am I missing? I know there was some discussion that the Rosetta stone wonder is overpowered.

Have you built the correct improvement on those resources? It may be that the map resource and the improvement or maybe even a manufactured resource all have the same name. If so it is a bug that needs fixing.

The unit art style of Greco-Roman uses a slinger (ART_DEF_UNIT_PELTAST, to be specific) for the archer unit. It is only the appearance and has no effect on the unit's abilities. Not surprisingly, Italy uses this art style.

You mentioned you dont like the Txt part, so do you want me to do them for ya? No biggy, its an easy fix?? Then later if you dont like what i put, you can always change it anyways.;)

For the record, WWI and WWII Ambulances were okay 10 or 20 SVN revisions ago (5472 and before I think, just recently upgraded nearly all to Medevacs, few still remained). Also, selecting one of them currently(rev 5783) gives me a city build list instead of unit orders to choose.
 
some bug options in game have settings with the text missing and error mensages.

In worker automation appear options of tecnologies i dont have, and some have the code appearing.
 
I did a Ctrl-Shift-T recalc - without changing my version of the program - and went from +14 to -211 gold per turn. I submit that saves may be losing track of things like increasing city maintenance, reporting them but not applying them.

Unlikely to be saves. More likely changes of civic or adding/removing traits or something like that.

Hmm yes in other circumstances I might assume I'd made some such change and forgotten about it. But I didn't. ;) Unless you're saying it's a trait change that happens automatically. (I don't have the option to change traits and I haven't changed civics since my last Golden Age at least twenty turns ago).

However, I have also just restarted the program, so it could be that rather than the recalc that changed it.

Could this go some way towards explaining why Rev says you're in "Financial Trouble", when your bank balance and surplus don't?

ETA: I got to the next turn, and my 200-plus deficit has now become a 100-plus surplus.

So it seems kind of likely that rather than the recalc or the restart being to blame, that some more random and generic weirdness is afoot:scan:.

I had been noticing that every time I change civics, I take a one-turn financial hit that then goes away again. Also more generally, my surplus/deficit has been vacillating wildly nearly every turn. I assumed that was due to my actions, and it may still be, but it may also be related to this.

REV's definition of 'financial trouble' is very bizarre. In later eras REV can decide you're in financial trouble when you have 10s or 100s thousands of gold in your treasury if your net income is not strong (per turn). That's just a REV foible - nothing to do with recalc issues (at least very unlikely to be).

If you can pin down a pattern please provide save games that illustrate it.

Someone else please look at this - I'm about a week behind from the current SVN and do not have the latest DLL changes - I'm in the middle of considerable rework on one area so not in a position to easily look into crashes against the current SVN.
