Single Player bugs and crashes - After the 16th of May

Have you built the correct improvement on those resources? It may be that the map resource and the improvement or maybe even a manufactured resource all have the same name. If so it is a bug that needs fixing.

I built Archaeology labs in both cities. I also cranked out workers to improve those cities areas. I was hoping it would show me an ancient relics icon or symbol that I could manually send workers to improve. I am playing with an Immense map and a 70 x 70 viewport. I have to again say thank you to the mod team. This is the best game I have ever played. I am right about 30 BC right now.
 
New combat line?? I dont like this at all, pls put it back. Also missionaries NEED to be captureable.

They are Civilians and Workers and civilians do gain access to some limited combat promos BUT what I can do to easily resolve that is establish UNITCOMBAT_WORKER as not having access to combat and garrison promotionlines specifically. Easy fix but I'll have to do it tomorrow.

Actually, the better solution still is to put a disqualifier in the SVN that any unit without a Strength value cannot gain any combat modifying promos. That'd take a bit more thought but should be done that way... I'll do the quickfix tomorrow and do the deeper fix over the weekend.

Hi i am having repeated end turn crashes V30 non SVN version here is my save file. I am playing as the Phonicians but i renamed them the Trojan empire ingame 42 civs eternity setting. Please let me know if further info is needed. Crash occurs at turn 1551 ancient era. Thanks...

Hi thanks for the response no i haven't tried the dll from the patch thread. Would that help my situation? I am trying to avoid having to start over. This is very perplexing because i logged over 2500 turns in my other campaigns without much issues. But I'll head on over to the patch thread to see what's there. Again thank you for your response.:)

Ok downloaded the dll from the patch thread but forgive my ignorance where does this file belong where do i extract it too? Do i put it in the civgamecoredll folder or do i extract this directly to the c2c folder? Thanks...

Hi and thanks for your response i tried it out and it worked no more crashes. I am so happy about this as i thought my campaign was lost you and koshling just saved it for me and for that i am very grateful. Thank you very much to both of you for all your help. Now is back to gaming i go. :goodjob:
 
I did a recalc and my gpt went from -90 to -511. It was definitely the recalc this time.

I expect (hope) it will readjust next turn, so no biggie.

I bought a Deer Rider, but it did not show up in my capital. The military advisor showed it as there, but there was no unit button for it in that tile. I moved all the other units out of the capital, and then it showed up. But its flag had no 'ball' on the top, indicating that the game counted zero units in the tile. Next turn, even if I move all the units out, it is totally gone. Next time I post from that machine I'll give you a save and screenie.
 
I got Spartan culture in my latest game, but when I built some Spartan warriors, they were pink. My graphics settings are on high and everything else looks normal.

If this is a bug (i.e. - the recalc is incorrect rather than the previous value being incorrect) then we'll need a before-recalc save to reproduce it from. If you suspect you might be able to reproduce this always save immediately before the recalc just in case please, so as to preserve a debugging save.

Did you do the recalc just 'for the hell of it' or because you'd updated to a later version via the SVN or something?

Got a loading XML error for 'modules/Hydro/embassy/ub_civ4buildinginfos.xml'. It seems its missing a '<' in the closing tag in line 1194.
 
Crashing to desktop within 50 turns of starting a game consistently since updating the svn, I don't remember which one I updated from but it wasn't more than a day ago.
EDIT: I was previously on 5497, now on 5500. All I have to do to get it to crash is hit end turn.

Did anything change since 5472 that could cause attacking stacks to go to sleep after just one attack? Before that attacking would just deselect the unit that attacked and the other units were open to continuing the attack. Now I'm back to splitting stacks and attacking with units individually again.
 
I don't know what happened but the Rosetta Stone just popped up in my to build list and my resources list shows 1 ancient relic.
 
Alot of "duplicate" units are showing up in build lit only, not in city area when clicked on.

:help:Also on Promotions, they are really messed-up right now, can we PLEASE:please: get a NON-modder to look into this for US pls. And write down what is wrong with most of the present units, thx.:help:
