Classic CTD, the classic being that it happens now and then and that I have no clue what it could be.
Archive contains save and minidump.
If checking and thinking that the save looks weird with income vs costs just ignore, I am trying this with ways to get the AI to develop, see what bottlenecks could be removed.

So how did you circumnavigate the globe with rafts, if they can't enter foreign culture and can't cross oceans?
Went through the civilopedia and got loads of screenshots of missing text keys (they are in the tooltips). This is at r8349.
00 - 45 are subdued animals
46 - 52 are tamed bears
53 and 54 are building text
Just checking to see if this one has been figured out yet, would like to continue the save and if nothing else solving a CTD is always important?

1) You would've done so faster by simply waiting for kayaks - unless it's a very small map. You would also have done so more reliably due to the foreign territory issue. And the fact that kayaks are more survivable against many animals.I have circumnavigated the globe with the 5 rafts no problem. I would have done it sooner if they were unlimited.
edit even though they are recon they don't get exp from Great Hunters.
The mini doesn't give me anything. Perhaps it came from before the last dll update and that could be why. Minis are usually about all you can use to debug a non-repeatable crash but I'm loading your game and we'll take a look under the hood and see if anything stands out as leading to the problem or catching the problem in action.Just checking to see if this one has been figured out yet, would like to continue the save and if nothing else solving a CTD is always important?

I've got my first reproducible CtD save attached here. It used to CtD 2 SVN revisions earlier as well. Some background info:
1) Paris was conquered 5 turns ago and I'm in the process of getting it set up.
2) The tile northeast of Paris has a French army trying to get the city back - It consists of a Healer and 69 Battering Rams... yeah, so there's that.
3) The turn just before the save had round 1 of the French army trying to get Paris back
4) They (I think) heal for 2 turns even after this save
The CtD happens on the second turn after loading the save. The French army starts attacking Paris again, my garrison defends and around 15 1 vs 1 fights later, the game just hangs.
To reproduce, just hit the END TURN button 2 times and let battle start![]()

2) Rafts are not recon. They are Naval Combatants. however, any units that are either recon or hunter must also be designated an Explorer so there could be some naval units with that issue.

EDIT: Looks like I did find a crash case. It's not somewhere I've been tooling with so I'm not 100% sure if I'm just fixing an odd symptom or the problem itself but I think I've got it resolved anyhow.
It may well be intentional given how much work Koshling did in this department to audit the system. And if it's not intentional it should be should it not? We can't give the perception that these units are subservient to any of our state authorized field commanders... would give away the secret!
1) When it only takes a few more rounds to research to get to kayaks, I have a hard time believing that considering how slowly rafts move.1) If I had waited for kayaks I would have been waiting until after I circumnavigated the world.
2) points earned by the raft winning are going to a Great Hunter not an Great Admiral so why are they not getting points from the GH?

This bug MAY be the one I just fixed and then again it also may be the graphic animation bug with rams... or something new. I can take a look tomorrow perhaps.Hi. My game crash after finishing this turn. It´s crashed maybe 3 times. I´ve restarted my PC once and tried allocating more RAM to be used using following directions:

I attashed an rar file including the appropriate dmp file and the save file.

And yeah, i reported some other bug about setting. Ignore it. For some reason the settings I had got saved like they should have, and now there is no problem.

Just experiensed the pathing quirk with a land unit:

So this problem is not specific to reef/kelp features.
I believe the problem here, is that the pathing code prioritize defense modifiers at the expense of route length.
I´m gonna try a new game with other setting (Less demanding). If I get some problems again i write again.
On an other note. Isn´t mesopatanism a little to good of a religion. It was, i thought, the best before when i played the normal realese. With the free couthouse etc etc.
Now it´s even better, when it gives second most education. (Hell. 12, Meso. 10, druid. 6 and the rest 7) I know it don´t give any +% but still. Maybe i´m missing something, after all i´ve never got passed the medivel era
