Single Player bugs and crashes v35 plus (SVN) - After the 18th of August 2014

@alberts2,
TortoiseSVN just had a recent update put out v.19,xxxx. I updated to that.

I did the https because that's what I use for my other SVN's (Krome, AND, etc.) that I have full access to.

Did not know that the https had a 10Mb limit attached to it. BUT, since I will probably Never have a 10Mb commit that should not be a problem. I will remember though that if I ever do have a >10Mb commit I will switch to the svn+ssh.

My future balance changes, when Team approved of course, will be in small packages.

EDIT:
@Arakhor,
Quit nitpicking with the Boss! :lol::mischief:

I didn't update TortoiseSVN to version 1.9 to avoid any issues. There is no fixed size limit with https but it just looses the connection if it takes too long.

Even my parents were born after the war, so my views on Churchill are based on what I've read about him in history. My views on Margaret Thatcher, however, might very well do what you suggest. :)

I have uninstalled Tortoise, rebooted and installed it and rebooted and I still get the error. I have done a completely new extraction of the SVN and still I get the error! :(

Would someone go into the Sikhism_CIV4TechInfos.XML and remove the two other religions from the and prereqs. In fact remove the and prereqs completely. Then commit to the SVN.

Path please, which folder contains that file in the Assets/XML?

Modules/Custom Relgions. DH wants the Hinduism and Islam AND prereqs removed.

Lumbermill can find hemp, ie hemp may be discovered there just like metals on mines, but it should not out do a plantation. It is a bug!

It's not a bug it's design. The lumber mill doesn't outdo the plantation, it provides an alternative where hemp is concerned. Hemp can be uniquely used for so many purposes that it is as likely to be useful in production as it is in commerce. Therefore, the lumbermill application makes it possible to get production over commerce whereas the plantation gives the commerce over production. They should pretty much generate equal value, just either in production or commerce at the player's option.

Both with rafts and now with Neanderthal Warriors if I try to combine units they auto fortify or whatever the new specialized fortify is called (the one where you chose what buffs they get) and as soon as you pick one you CTD with no error message.

The latest revisions (8645) is crashing on startup with some xml errors, I had to move to 8642 to start the mod.

I am getting an XML error in Assets/XML/Buildings/Special_BuildingInfos.XML at line 15612 (mosquitoes) - expecting end of tag <iHealth>. However that tag looks OK to me so it must be something before that line.

edit an error is in the Mosquitoes building somewhere.

edit removing mosquitoes and everything after removes the error(s) but just removing mosquitoes does not.

edit Pest Rats has a line <iHealth>-1</iHappiness> but it is not the only error. I am searching for the other(s)

Du'OH!!!:blush:
Yeah, I had 2 rookie xml mistakes the iHappiness behind an iHealth and further down on Rats had a missing/ on </iHappiness> or vice versa with Mosquitoes. :p

Both fixed and commited to SVN.

EDIT: Got all excited this morning and failed to do a Load test before I committed my changes. I'm still learning. Thanks fmisiof and DH for the heads up!

:( I am now getting an error in the same file but for iYield at line 15640

edit you have <iYield>..<iYield> the last should be </iYield> all three have this

As far as I can see that is the last problem with that XML.

edit I have added two attachments since I can't commit to the SVN still:(. One fixes the iYield problem and the other fixes one TXT issues (with a guess at the Polish) - it goes in the Tapir folder. If someone would put these on the SVN. Thanks

Thanks for the catch! Will commit both asap. Again Thanks. :blush:

This should've been resolved over the last weekend but if it's taking place on a current SVN version then I might've erred in my 'fix'. I'll look into it.
