The Elder Scrolls Mod

Spoiler :
[/ spoiler] (but without the space between the / and spoiler)

Anyways, I've never played the Elder Scrolls, but I've heard of it, and from what I've heard, there is some stuff that coincides with FF, so I may be able to help out here and there......

I'm always for a good fantasy mod :D

BTW, what do the Cat-people look like? The reason I ask is becuase I have some Cat props for Aiko 3, and I'm planning on making a Mithra Flavor unit line for the Federation of Windhurst in the FF mod.....

Your tech tree is nice. Very simple and smooth. The one thing I would do is remove the irrigation tech, and throw the irrigate ability onto farming.

All techs that do not have the "Not Required For Era Advancement" need to be researched before you can mosey on to the next era.

About that tech tree: I find it a bit strange to see, tha pottery is discovered before farming. I think it should be vise versa. ("hey, sir! We've discovered how to make clay pots to storage food!" "That's great, what food are we going to store in them?" "Umm.. well, we're still working on that, sir." )

Hey the mod is a good idea! (I am atm playing tes4 :crazyeye:) perhaps it's possible to use for the later morrowindian/elven cities something that looks like the big buildings of Vivec...

I played some Daggerfall back in the day. :old:
So did i. But i didn't play past the first city. No time.
Note: I have no knowledge about the universe in the game, so

@Stormrage (tech tree) :
Like aaglo said (:rotfl:) - the pottery and farming. From farming --> Irrigation AND -->Pottery (or smthing like that). (farming can be done without domestication)
Um.... balistics sounds kinda ... high-tech - but i can't think of any replacement for this tech though ...

That's about all the coments on the tech tree. :)

Like this :

There are some variation within the race, some have a more Tiger-like look, others more cat-like, etc.

Well, I figured people discovered pottery to make small statuse out of clay n` stuff, primitive idols, maybe some smaller pots to keep stuff in it, and then they discovered how to grow plants on one place (the pottery really kicked in as usefel then), instead of looking for wheat all over the place, and then they learned how to irrigate so they can farm where they want, not just on a specific place.

Also, I wanted to have domestication together with farming cos when they learned to keep animals with them, they figured, why not plants too?

But OK, you guys know more about this than I do.

@Heretic_Cata - balistics wouldn`t have a unit, just a hunter`s logde improvement, real combat archers would become available at military training

@Hikaro - Mithra would be nice lookin, there are all sorts of Khajiit, some species look like elves with cat-like features, some look like cats that walk on 2 legs, some look like normal cats. All manner of tiger-like, lion-like and whatnot Khajiit exist.

Kinboats models would be perfect for the Cathay, Cathay-raht and the Suthay-raht, while your Mithra model would be good for Ohmes.

Cathay are intelligent Khajiit, like Ohmes and Suthay, but bigger.

Cathay-raht are even stronger and better built than Cathay, making them excellent warriors.

The housecat-sized Alfiq do not speak any common tongue, but do understand them.

Dagi is a breed of Khajiit living in the southern regions of Elsweyr

The Mane is, according to the belief, a unique Khajiit breed, their spiritual leader.

The most manlike cats, the Ohmes are sometimes mistaken for Bosmer, the small, furry and annoying merfolk.

Pahmar are tiger-like, agile and sizable Khajiit

Like Pahmar, Senche are bigger and stronger than their cousins. They are the equivalent of horses to other Khajiit, although Senche wouldn't appreciate the comparison to their dinner.
Senche-raht are even bigger cats, used not only in riding but to battle enemies as well.

One of the most common form of Khajiit, Suthay are frequently encountered in the province of Morrowind

Like Dagi, Tojay are residents of the Tenmar forest and its adjacent jungles and marshes.

Well, I haven't played any of those games, but I can still give a pointer or two for the tech tree. ;)
Irrigation (the ability) should come earlier, if it is like that the human player would research it before the AI, and get an unfair edge.
As said, switch farming and pottery.
If Ballistics give a Hunters lodge, why not rename that to Trapping or something like that? That could also give a Scout-type unit if you want.

You have game as a strat or lux?

No, you shouldn't irrigate before you have something to irrigate. ;)
So Irrigation after Farming or not at all.

Storm: about the Cat-people... I also have (in addition to the ears and tail figures), conforming cat paw boots and gloves for Aiko 3, as well as some feline skin textures for Aiko as well, and it would be a simple job of applying the new skin texture to aiko and conforming the boots and gloves and re-rendering.....

That would be awesome Hikaro for the Ohmes! But I`m still gonna need some Suthays and Cathays, I can give the models if you wan`t, Kinboat made them :)

I will be using your Mithra Ninja too :)

But since I`m making this up as I go, I still have no idea about the units..
I downloaded a bunch to see what I can do with them, but It seems that Lucy will have some r`questing to do!..

Oh well, if it took ED 2 years to make the WH mod, and he is one of the best modders out there... No rush, I suppose :)
