Why would it offend Russians?

If anything, Rocky 4 would be doing that, which came out a year later.

In word processing, what is the justified alignment used for?

Oh.

I always use Justified, unless Centre would be better. I only use Left/Right in very rare circumstances.

Rocky 4 is offensive ---> Russians are offended
A ---> B
But the above holds true for every case other than B itself being false. Ergo it doesn't matter if Rocky 4 is offensive or not.

If and only if natural language was actually well-defined. So certainly not for english :P

There is a critical error in my post.
Not what was 'the film' like, but rather what was 'film' like.

I mean film and mass entertainment in general.

For example the top grossing films of 1984 in the US were:
Beverly Hills Cop
Ghostbusters
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
Gremlins
The Karate Kid
Police Academy
Footloose
Romancing the Stone
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Splash

It looks like I got my years mixed up it was a classic year.

What were the people of the Soviet Union watching?

Same here, I can't stand the look of left justified anymore even though it's standard for most people in most situations.

Does a modern DJ actually do anything?

Mostly it seems they just bob their head, I see them twisting knobs but I don't notice any change in the music when they do that.

They had to put it together at some point.
But yeah, afterwards, I think that's mostly it.
When you go to festivals, you sometimes see in the program behind some DJs ("live"), and I wonder what the hell is that supposed to mean, especially in contrast to the other DJs .

(I like this one you posted)

this is live music

no I don't have any idea how it works. Mostly pre-programmed music switches linked to the buttons executing (sometimes) a large variety of actions with one manual press on the board is my hunch. Other times it seems to be just one note.

Why is Crème fraîche called Crème fraîche when it is kind of the opposite of fresh cream?

What makes hens lay eggs without fosters in them? Seems like a huge waste of resources that evolution would've prevented

My understanding is that its egg develops before being fertilized, so it doesn't really have a choice whether or not to lay it.

I read an interview where Deadmau5 said all of his shows are totally arranged beforehand and he doesn't do anything besides pressing the play button, dancing a little, and pretending to DJ. He also claimed most big DJs do the same thing. However, I believe some DJs actually do stuff live, particularly if it's more of an impromptu show, in which case they're adjusting the music with the mood of the crowd. I think DJs at parties and clubs are more active than celebrity DJs performing live. @Hygro ?

Probably for the same reason that female humans end up bleeding all over the damn place over month.

If there's no roosters about, the reproductive adaptivity of the chicken is already moot. Hens are way calmer with one around too.

Should've considered

One thing that made me wonder is that I read somewhere that birds extract calcium from their own bones to make eggshells, which I kinda figured would be something to hold in controll, but it might be you know like,, the amount of eggs they produce in a lifetime sort of synchs up with how long that lifetime is

Did also sort of think you know like I haven't seen other birds laying unfertilised eggs like that, but maybe they do
