Which US state is the Boringest?

As a proud citizen of North Dakota, I'd say it is fairly boring, but I wouldn't live anywhere else. After all, boring means there's few problems. Low crime, high personal freedom, stable economy, low unemployment, friendly neighbors, sounds boring to me.

Wyoming, there's nothing there. Also Oregon outside of Portland is pretty boring.

While Maryland crab cakes are quite superior to all others, they are not the main event. Steamed blue crabs and pan-fried soft shell crabs are the best crabs anywhere. You cannot get them anywhere else either. You have to be there in season.

Ft McHenry and the spring steeple chases in Baltimore Country are also excellent attractions. And if you like to sail the Chesapeake Bay is a grand place to do so. and the Naval Academy and the college of St. Johns are in Annapolis.

I didn't realize we're thought of as our own country.

Maryland's a fun place, and I have no idea why one person voted Maryland. There's the Appalachian Mountains to the west, and Ocean City, Md to the east, plus cities, towns and farmland in between (mostly in the east and south). Plus there's the gaming companies here that have brought you the likes of Civilization, Rise of Nations, The Elder Scrolls.

I'm in California, near L.A. It is not exciting, not nearly as much as it is congested.

I clearly differentiated between New Orleans and the rest of the surrounding region.

I guarantee that anyone who claims Wyoming is boring has never been there. Ever heard of Yellowstone? Grand Tetons? I mean...come on....

Nebraska too...actually western NE is beautiful...go check out Scott's Bluff and Chimney Rock.

And Idaho...really you people...get out there and see it. Snake River gorge and Sand Point for starters.

North Dakota doesn't have much...except the huge TV tower. And Delaware doesn't have much either.

1. Go to the Space Needle.
2. Visit Mount St. Helens.
3. Go skiing (seasonal)
4. Visit Pikes Place Market.
5. Go Whale Watching (see wild orcas..very cool).
6. Go to NorthWest Trek.
7. Visit the pacific beaches.
8. Visit the various museums in the state (one of my favs: the sci fi museum - it has Kirks chair!!)
9. See the Experience Music Project. Very nice.
10. Take in a ballgame at Safeco field.
11. Go to a casino (and maybe see fifty!)
12. Vist Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. Or the Seattle Aquarium.
13. Seafair.
14. Puyallup Fair.
15. Go hiking.
16. Go swimming/biking/waterskiing/tubing/etc.
17. See at Movie at Imax.
18. Take a ferry to BC, or Friday Harbor.
19. Go Salmon/Halibut or Trout fishing.
20. Go to a Seahawks or Husky football game (or if on the East Side see the Cougars).
21. Take in a hockey game.
22. Go to a shooting range.
23. Go to a local tavern and taste some local microbrews.

And thats just off the top of my head. There are many, many more.

Now, if all you do is sit and home and watch it rain....yeah, Washington can be boring. But so can any state.
