I just realised, this whole forum is advocating cruelty and violence and injustice, and has been for years. What... What are we???

Just found an incredibly old, very faded picture of a soldier in my equally old book about the Boer War. I fully believe it to be a personal photo, not part of the book. Any recommendations on what to do with it?

That sounds really cool. Both the photo, and your collection of books :)

I guess I would just keep it, unless you think it would have value to any museum/collection?

I agree. I think we need a world of enlightened and empowered individuals who are not arbitrarily divided by 'nations' which are really artificial constructs. A 'nation' is an idea that exists only by collective agreement. It is a label for a collection of people and property. Perhaps the time has come to question if this labelling and separation still serves the evolution of humanity.

I could say that NESLife is an exception. But in a way, that is an even more brutal struggle for survival :p

I suggest an imaginary moment of silence for all imaginary soldiers and civilians that have fallen in the name of NES.

But half the fun is imagining all the soldiers and civilians that suffer in the fictional world. Right guys?

Guys?

..Right?

Actually, you are probably right in that remark Eltain; who doesn't like being a bronze age Genghis Khan and conquering and slaughtering all who stand in your path?

Iggy is the only one of us going to heaven.

Now that I think about it suffering is the glue that holds this sub-forum together.

In my defense I try and make at least half of my updates talk about something other than war.

Go question it somewhere else

Some 80%* of modern video games have some form of violence and death in them anyways. At least we build the stuff we destroy!

Going to the PTQ in Green Bay this Saturday. On top of Thanksgiving I'll be a bit busy these next couple days. I'll let you know how it goes though. I'm trying to go to organized events more and more :p

I'm considering building a Werewolf deck. I have a foil Huntmaster that begs to be played... at some point.

Werewolves are fun, you need to run some Reckless Waifs in there to make it really good.

Except when it is, like with Joseph Chamberlain. I'm pretty sure his idea of Imperialism was strongly connected to British patriotism, for better or for worse?

Anyway, iron-fisted arbitrary division by monarchic territorial states is far superior to wishy-washy arbitrary division by liberal nations. :p
