My avatar is the best representation of myself I could find.
My location is where I live.
My title is because I do several things at the same time:
- Paint figurines
- Make my Civ3 mod
- Make my Napoleonic scenario for Civ3
- Convert units for civ3 (about 449 so far)
- Develop SSS
- Work on my RPG
- Take care of my wife
- Raise two children
- Have a demanding job that requires international travel

And currently, I'm finishing to build my house. Well, I don't do much (some painting, the floors, etc) but it takes time anyway. So I had ti limit some of the above tasks.

But starting December 2006, when I'm in the new house, I plan to increase the speed of some projects. And I hope some will be "finished" (like Steph's mod version 2)

And the signature is just some of the things I have done here.

Avatar: This is Sun-Ra. He was a godfather to many of the more famous Jazz, Electro Jazz and Funk artists. He inspired people like Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Sly Stone, Herbie Hancock and many more. He was also a complete space cadet, believing that he was from Saturn or Jupiter and that he had come to Earth to give us some funky, space jazz salvation . Eitherway, he was a serious musical innovator.

Title: "Captain of the Arkestra" - Sun Ra's band/orchestra was called "The Arkestra".

Location: "On The Good Foot" - This refers to James Brown's wailing - 'Can I Get It on Tha Good Foot' or 'Get up on the Good Foot'. Can mean dance, mental state and anything similar you'd wish to relate it to.


Username: Is a one letter alteration of a philosopher and cosmologist who first filled my head with awe about the world around me - Rambachan. I don't use this username anywhere else.

Public Profile: I think it is important, seeing as I mainly use the Colosseum part of CFC, to state how old I am and what I do for a living, so that those wishing to debate and discuss have some idea who they are talking to. It's terrible going off on a long point in a thread and then discovering the person you are debating/discussing with is actuall 10yrs old

Name: I had it for a long time. I thought of it at the top of my head for some online game.

Avatar: It's Sephiroth. The best 'bad guy' in Final Fantasy hands down!
Edit: I have been known to use Solo and Skywalker in the past. I have also used an archangel, a paladin, Vader, Aragorn, and a Civ3 F-15.

Location: It is where Sephiroth spent his time researching the Jenova Project. This would only mean something to you, if you actually played the game.

Title: I had that title for a while. If it wasn't in my title, it was in my sig. It simply states what I am religously and politically.

Sig: It's a link to another CFC thread for the best sport in the history of mankind.

As for my signature, my DVD collection gives an insight into what I liked well enough to buy (EDIT - though some were too cheap to pass up and it made more sense to buy than rent), and we just had an election in New Zealand. I'll be changing that point soon.

IglooDude: picked up the nick while I was in Alaska; after enough people in AOL chatrooms would ask me "Do you really live in an igloo?" I decided it might as well be my name so I could mess with their minds more easily. Apparently someone on Gamespy has started using the nick as well, up until a year ago it was unique to me.

Avatar: I started with Rommie from Andromeda purely because she was nice to look at, and since she's known in that series as the ship's avatar, it was a bit of a play on words. It seems to have developed into a theme of female androids since my title at the beginning was "Artificially Intelligent", a play (*sigh*, yes, another one), on the fact that using Google and such, my (and everyone else's) thread postings can be far more intelligent than you'd find in an average conversation. And, since I'm a gun-nut, might as well have the avatar holding one.

I have been very conservative about all that in this forum. Same title (taken from Astérix) for years, no signature all the time.

The avatar (coat of arms of my hometown) has changed once, the Werder Bremen badge was added. But that was only because I said in 2002 or so (I had the CoA ever since custom avatars were created as a reaction to all the flag avatars that appeared back then) that the only way I would change my avatar would be if Werder would win the championship. That was supposed to be some sort of "when hell freezes over" thing back then but turned out differently in May 2004.

No change since then.
