Your Political Compass

Well what I'm saying is that the test probably isn't an accurate way to analyze anything in the first place. If very minor differences in how I answered a few questions creates that wild of a swing, then it's likely that my first result was innacurate to begin with and the test itself is inherently innacurate.

I admittedly have nothing to back up this statement but my own uneducated opinion.

I would agree that the test sucks. Even the phrases are confusing nevermind the way they calculate it

Economic Left/Right: -7.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -9.13

That's strange. I seem to have shifted a bit to the right. Help! I'm turning into a fascist. How did that happen?

Still far to the left

Economic Left/Right: -7.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.56

What would be interesting would be to compare to this to my previous test results (hint for someone to bump the old thread). Although I'm not sure if this is the same exact test, but it does use a similar graph as the one I took before. I am curious to see if I'm more or less libertarian than before.

Economic Left/Right: 1.50
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.82

Economic Left/Right: -1.75
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -5.28

Just about the same spot I always get.

left pointing right (sadly only sometimes) ;)

Now I've made some testing and messing around and it says I'm a libertarian ... jolly good ... xD

There are like 40 of these threads.. but here I am:

Economic Left/Right: -0.12
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.05

Dead center :)

That's terribly impressive. I've been meaning to engineer that result for myself at some stage. But I haven't bothered.

(Not that I think you've engineered it. I'm guessing that's just how your opinions pan out.)

Mr B you are an extremist.

Do you have any political heroes?

I'm a bit apolitical, I suppose. I tend to think when people get all political they're just expressing opinions. They're entitled to do so, of course. Just that there's no particular reason to think one opinion is any better than another really*.

Is this an extremist position, or is it just apathy? I don't know, do I? What do you think?

*There are, naturally, exceptions to this. For example, when Hitler formed the opinion that he should invade Poland (or rather engineer an excuse for invading Poland), I'm rather inclined to the position that this was a wrong opinion.

On the other hand, my natural inclinations are to the extreme SW of the political spectrum, i.e. some kind of half-baked anarcho-syndicalism. But this is only my opinion, and has no significance at all.

What's a "hero", in these terms?

Yes, I was confused by the questions. Some of them seemed similar to what I remembered, but others not so much.

Just retook the test.
-2.00 and + 0.36 I moved further to the center sadly :/, I probably changed a few "strongly disagrees/agrees"
