I believe Abradley. I believe that youtube sais what he sais it sais. But it's just a youtube.

Add little production with official titles and it look just like people on TV and TV people don't make lie. Text over video nead fancy studio AV quipment so must be real. Abradley and other naiive old people very impressed by simple cheap trick.

No that has been Trump's MO for 40 years. Trump is treating the US government like a girlfriend who has spurned him: since you won't have me, I'll wreak havoc on your life. He is a narcissistic dirt bag.

"My sweet submissive subject... my loyal royal subject...Forever...and ever...and ever, and ever, and ever...You'll be back...like before... I will fight the fight and win the war... for your love... for your praise... and I'll love you till' my dying days"

When you're gone
I'll go mad
So don't throw away this thing we had
Cause when push... comes to shove
I will...Kill your friends and family...
To remind you of my love"

Given how cheap TVs and cameras are nowadays, any wahoo can set up their own official-looking studio.

Personally, I thought Wally George had a great setup with the American flag and the space shuttle picture.

Not a fan of his program, I just really like this set.

Hitler did the same
When "his" Germany was lost, because "his" end was near, he did nothing to prevent avoidable damage to Germany. Like a primitive chieftain having his household killed and added to his grave, he wanted the Germans who had forsaken him, by not winning "his" war, to be dead as well.

Yes any punk these days can walk into SEARS and buy state of art VCR and camcorder but clearly the text in that video is writen by hand and hung on wall. But text and graphix is top notch in youtube on smart phone which can't take VCR at all.

I am beginning to give credence to my wife's theory that Donald doesn't want to concede
because Melania has told him that when he's stopped being POTUS, she will divorce him.
I agree with your wife. I wouldn't be surprised if they signed some kind of contract that she wouldn't divorce him while he was in office. I wonder if on January 21st, she's taking Barron and moving back to Europe.

I'm sure Melania has a plan for escape. I don't think she's stupid.

The trick, I think, is to look at the credentials. And you can't label somebody a loon unless you actually know.

And then the person forwarding the video uses some of their own credibility, putting it on the line.

Videos are a great source of information, and learning how to curate them is the challenge of the 21st Century. We have incredible opportunities to consume information, if we consume good information

A video with pictures and graphs or where you get quotes incl the voice and face... yes.
Otherwise too slow compared to reading, no way to glance through properly, or to mine easily from links.
It's old school serial access knowledge at the speed of talking.

Trump Rebuffs Biden Transition Team, Setting Off Virus and National Security Risks Some Senate Republicans said the president-elect should be given intelligence briefings, and transition team members found workarounds for the president’s stonewalling. President Trump’s administration has held off on efforts to begin the transition to the Biden administration.
Properly so. Biden is not yet President elect.

No. It is over now. 12/14 is just an official end. 2016 was over they day after the election. Cry baby Trump just won't admit it.
The certification by the requisite number of Attorneys General is when it's over. That has not happened yet.

And yet it is perfectly legal for law enforcement within the United States to do that. It's also legal for law enforcement to lie to you in an effort to make you slip. The courts of the U.S. support this.
Not even close to legal. The IG report last year detailed the massive violations of procedure involved. Criminal investigations of law enforcement and justice officials are still ongoing.

i dont believe you the guy in the video is an utter loon, a conspiracy theorist
Russia collusion is a conspiracy theory, so you don't have standing to object.

Book marking / scanning really is the weakness. But, audio means that I can do other stuff.

OH, and I normally listen to everything at 1.25x speed (the speed-up software has gotten much better). About a month ago, I was listening to politicians debate - and I couldn't believe how moronic they sounded. haha, turns out I'd not sped them up.

I guess I'd habituated to debates be at conversation speed instead of public speaking speed.

The challenge we are facing nowadays is that you have whole generations of folks that grew up in an environment where things that were in print or on video had the highest degree of credibility. So many folks haven't quite gotten the knack of distinguishing credible sources of information on the internet yet.

Wrong on both counts. Biden is most certainly President-Elect... and its not over until Trump physically leaves the White House for good. Until that occurs, anything can happen, including, but not limited to, Civil War.

Listening is great when driving or doing simple household stuf. I am not able to do really two serious things at the same time. That other activity needs to be autopilot. Even music is too much for me when reading.
I had a colleague who did an amazing amount of serious courses during commuting by car 2x half an hour a day.

Was there anything, anything at all, in the famous Steele Report, that was actually true?
We found out this past summer that most of the dossier was part of a Russian misinformation campaign.

When looking at the dossier and the 2016 campaign you have two perspectives. The first is from that of in real time during the 2016-2017 without hindsight. The second is from now with full hindsight. For example, in 2016 non one knew that the Russians had planted misinformation into the dossier. In 2016 people acted without that knowledge. Now, we know that, so 2016 events take on a different light when looked at in 2020. There will be books on this in the future.

The risk is there
But I do think he is mainly aiming for a heroic myth from which he can return to slay the evil hydra.

The WH stated this morning that they are planning o a Trump 2nd term.

Peter Navarro said:
"We are moving forward here at the White House under the assumption that there will be a second Trump term," trade adviser Navarro lied on Fox Business Friday morning.

He continued, saying:

"What we seek here is verifiable ballots, certifiable ballots, and an investigation into what are growing numbers of allegations of fraud under signed affidavits by witnesses and my own view looking at this election, we have what appears in some sense to be an immaculate deception. But if you look statistically at what happened, clearly the president won this election, was leading on election day. And then, after election day, somehow in these key battleground states, they got just enough votes to catch up to the President."

Navarro continued. "Our assumption is the second Trump term, we think he won that election, and any speculation about what Joe Biden might do I think his moot at this point,' he said. Navarro declined to provide any proof when pressed on the legal argument.

It's in"credibly" difficult. The zone is flooded with ****. Intentionally, by actors who wish our demise for their aggrandizement. State and private.

Doesn't help that some of the most destructive and stupid stuff I read, given my surrounds, is definitely crapped out by Piled Higher and Drier types.
