She had plenty of pizzazz. Her problem is that she didn't use it in 2016. Pizzazz only works when you're a new face. Once people get used to you the effect wears off. Now she's just a very smart, very tough lady in a pantsuit, which is vaguely reminiscent enough of Hillary to be a subconscious turnoff. Plus she's a woman, which is a conscious turnoff to plenty of folks. I try remain optimistic about Warren, but I think her ship sailed last cycle.Warren's biggest problem is that she is a college professor and talks like one. Zero pizzazz factor.
Mondale, no, but I've said it before and I'll say it again, with Biden we are headed for another 2004-ish result. This one has to sting. Biden is being compared to Walter Mondale.
I remember feeling pretty disappointed with the VP pick... it was a symptom of their whole approach to the election... boring, safe, cautious... nothing to be excited about. I'm not optimistic about Biden's chances. He's just too boring. He's very easy for Democrats to vote for, but he's not very easy to turn out for. He will win the reliable blue states easily, but not much else, kind of like John Kerry did.Biden shouldn’t even be considered a serious candidate. Virtually no youth appeal whatsoever. Extremely generic boring old white gut who is not progressive and very center. The Democrats can’t win with a candidate like that

Even Hillary made the mistake of a running mate who met that very description instead of picking someone who would have made younger people and/or progressives happy.
