Strange, I always felt that it was the guys with beards who had something to hide (IE a weak chin, acne scars, etc.). I never knew that the moustache can generate such a visceral reaction. Not that I care all that much about the opinions of a bunch of geeks on a game site. Now if my wife were to say she preferred me clean shaven that would be another matter entirely.

That's a rather racist remark. How many eskimoes have you seen? In fact, I went to school with an Inuit who was rather skinny and had the goatee thing going on.

That was not my intent Turner. I'm sorry if it offended anyone. I'm sure there are many skinny eskimos however this whole thread is about mocking stereotypes and is really not much different than the "wearing pink" thread which also mocks stereotypes. I think both threads are trying to make light of things a little.

Ah... We're getting a little little little little bit politic here, but not as much as I expected.

After hours of bi-processor computing the above pool's stats I've come up with the followings :

Beard + Moustache = Conservative (Chuck Noris and co...)
Moustache = Centrist / alternative
Shaved = Liberal
Beard = Commie

I'm not sure what I have on my face right now. It's the result of not shaving for over a week. It's not quite a moustache yet, and far from being a beard.

But, my inability to grow any sort of beard is more than made up for by the fact that I don't need to shave every day, and I can get away with not shaving for almost a week (though some touchup is needed midweek to get rid of orphan hairs).

That said, you had to post this thread just when I capitulated in face of heat and shaved . Before last thursday I had facial hair of same pattern as Kaiser Wilhem II. Now I have "close cropped" beard and being somewhat blonde I look like I forgot to wash.

Ah well, after several pool recounts I only had a few "only beard" left and figured out there was a room for that political stance.

Reason maybe is (despite historical stereotypes) : the majority of my OnlyBeard friends are communists. say... : socialists.
Ahhh... Well no... Thinking about it, the majority of my friends are a bit socialist but very few of them wear only a beard.

Edit : Indeed, big problem with the only beard population.
