How can I add cities to an existing list?

How can I add more cities to an existing list?

I'm playing on mayas, an whenever the available list of cities runs out, I'm prompted to enter a "NEW xxxxx", which is annoying.

Is there any editor to "fix" this problem.

In the regular editor, you can add some name in the city list. You have to come up with names anyway or find a prepared list on these boards.

The simplest way is to copy and paste or create a list in notepad, edit it as needed so that there is one city listed per line, then copy and paste from notepad into the civ editor. Just plain text!

Wow, thanks. The list is pretty comprehensive.

BTW, where in the regular editor can I modify the list?
So far, I just have seen options to create/modify an scenario.
Does the list would need to be updated for every game, or it's going to be permanent?

A step by step procedure to do this would be really appreciated.

In the regular editor, first off go to scenario. Click Custom Rules. This will allow you to change everything needed in the Civ game.

Then, go to Rules > Edit > Civilizations

This is where you can edit the civilizations. (The list is permanent for every regular game I believe.) I'll get a screen here in a sec.
