NOTW L: The Immortals [Game Thread]

I believe I will publish my findings so far later today unless someone convince me not to.

I have body affinity so I would like the Body mana.

Why not publish them now?

Three more innocents killed, we seem to be getting nowhere. I believe this is because the perpetrators are among those who have ingratiated themselves with the innocents. With that in mind I want to hear more from Askthepizzaguy, and see if he can answer the questions I will level against him. First, let me help you recall what happened a few days ago:

"I have a personal request, to whoever this message concerns:

I was visited last night by unfriendly parties. I was not attacked, but I was made aware of their presence. In other words, the Demons did not attack me. However, there are other unkind people among us, and I believe it was they who intruded into my private chambers. I have reason to believe they will return. I do not wish to go into further detail.

Would someone please stand *watch* over me tonight? If I am visited again, I want the intruder caught.

I haven't brought it up before now because, I am alive and I was not attacked, and it isn't the most urgent matter before the council. But I do wish to make the council aware, there was a violation of the sanctity of my chambers, and an unwelcome one."

if someone watches atpg tonight, you might see a ball of sun attack him

that's not my current top choice but just a fair warning

Now, would you notice that after Kennigit revealed that he could do damage to Demons, Askthepizzaguy reveals he has been attacked and asks for someone to watch over him that coming night. Now I don't know if a person with such an ability even exists, but why would an innocent be so selfish when it appears that Kennigit is in MUCH more of a need of the watcher that coming night? Perhaps ATPG was trying to make sure that he could kill off Kennigit that coming night, especially after Kennigit said he might test ATPG.

Now you might wonder how that might be possible since ATPG has been making clear that he has been feeding on other members of this council at night as he is a vampire. My thought is that perhaps he is not the demon itself but someone in league with the demon, while using his feeding habits as an alibi. Or perhaps he is the demon, and uses a co-conspirators feeding habits as an alibi. I do not really know. But I do wonder because ATPG has by far put the most effort into making sure that everyone else knows he was seemingly busy at night.

Another point I would like to make is that this council has seen fit to give ATPG mana to distribute privately to someone in need of it. While I do not question this, and in fact support this tactic's use, but does that mean there should be no oversight on it. I asked ATPG yesterday if the recipient of the previous mana he obtained could confirm that he got it, or in order to protect that person's privacy, if a third-party could confirm the mana was transferred. While ATPG acknowledged my request he still not given me an answer. I bring this point up because ATPG could have easily given the mana to a co-conspirator without any of the innocents being any the wiser.

Why not publish them now?

I was talking about my almost finished work "Concerning Orbs" in case it wasn't clear. It's not very detailed or useful and I'm probably the only one interested. I would like to use fancy colours and such so I need to wait until tomorrow when I have access to the great colouring machine (ooc: a computer).

I have one suggestion though, the entropy orb should be passed to Zack.

The two extra kills tonight was due to vampire vigilantes. Visorslash said he would announce it publicly but I haven't seen anything yet.

nvm, misread the update

"I am easily much more powerful than Kennigit, and if someone were to watch me, they could have seen Kennigit attacking me if he did choose to do so, which establishes where he is and what he's doing.

Kennigit had the ability to use Sun Mana, that in and of itself didn't make him particularly powerful. There are others who can do that same task. I have unique abilities that can be found nowhere else in this council.

Not only that, I had been working closely with Kennigit and he did not object to me asking to be watched. There is a secret meeting place between me and him which shows that."

Now you might wonder how that might be possible since ATPG has been making clear that he has been feeding on other members of this council at night as he is a vampire. "Unfortunately this is the same sort of logic that Kennigit was guilty of using.

You are essentially saying that lack of any evidence whatsoever that I'm a demon actually makes me a demon simply because it's still possible that I am a demon.

That's not how you deduce things. It's how you rationalize a wild guess."

"Do you speak now of the Entropy Mana?

Perhaps the Metamagic Mana?

How about the Death Mana I reportedly gave away as well?"

1. Entropy- The person in question also received the Death Mana and used it for the Sheaim tribute which just boosted their relations.

They can get a third party to confirm that for me.

**Sheaim VIP- Please ask Catharsis to confirm that I gave you both Mana.**"

2. The MetaMagic Mana is still in my possession from last night. I felt I would be attacked but have taken measures to protect myself. If the intended target of the MetaMagic mana were to have died last night, it would have been a waste of my efforts and time to have handed it to him, when there are many people who can use it (In fact, probably literally everyone can make use of MetaMagic Mana. Very useful yet simple material).

I am going to be handing the MetaMagic Mana to the person who requested it now.

And, before I do that, I can SHOW anyone who asks, that I still have it in my possession.

3. Death Mana, see 1.

~~~~~~
Now then, Sir Frozen In Ice, the cold, rigid warrior of which I was previously speaking.
I want you to answer MY question.
The fact is, you do not know for sure how much Death Mana I have right now.
I have metamagic mana, which means I could have generated Raw Mana, and then Duplicated the Death Mana I had before, or I could have been lying about having lost any Death Mana ever, or I could be lying now about it having been needed for the Sheaim ritual.
Therefore I could have as many as 1 or 3 Death Mana as of this moment, and as Visorslash can confirm, it has the power to boost vampire feeding strength.
Which means, only I know with absolute certainty how much damage I should have caused you last night.
If my feeding ability was ineffective against you, say, because you are a Demon and can shrug off vampire bites, for example, or some kind of Usurper with special anti-vampire powers, then perhaps you have no idea how much damage I was supposed to cause you last night.
The answer is between 1, and 3, total damage.
Now, friend Frozen in Ice, you have exactly one chance to tell me the correct answer.
How much damage should I have caused you last night, and how much did I actually cause you?
1. How much damage should I have caused you means, do you have anti-vampire feeding powers, of any kind?
2. How much did I actually cause you, means tell the truth, or you die.
Fear not, for I know what the answers should be, and if your answers match mine, you're actually off the hook, my good man.
My very, very good man.
Mmmmmmm....." ;)
"Time frame: The MetaMagic Mana will be handed to its intended target before End Of Day so it is usable tonight, but until then I can *SHOW* anyone my Death Mana, MetaMagic Mana, and my Water Mana.
I've already shown Visorslash."
Back to my office for the next 7 hours or so. Will return for the rest of the council meeting.
The Regent exits.
The Regent returns briefly
"KingMorgan will require one additional mana of any type at all, which can be turned into a different kind of mana and used with the air mana.
I don't care what kind of mana it is, and he won't either."
The Regent exits.
I was not using the fact that you had an alibi against you, I'm merely pointing out your alibi isn't as concrete as initially may seem the case. My other points were what I was actually holding against you.
Additionally, so you the one who attacked me last night. Well I can say I took exactly one damage. Visorslash seemed quite insistent that you attack Southernking, so I'm surprised he hasn't spoken up about your rebelliousness.
I told ATPG to feed on you FII, I don't exactly trust you.
Anyway, yes I organised the vampire vigs. I will continue to do so.
Its worth noting that their are way to many vampires at the start of the game and they are way to powerful (vigilantes) for all of them to be confirmed innocents. Basically, someone amongst the vampires is almost guaranteed to be working with the enemy. The only question is whom. Jht comes to mind for the reasons mentioned before, as do TBK and choxorn (major advocates of the "lynch BL" movement), however I would like TBK to come out with his orb-related research before pursing my suspicions.
JHT's not a vampire, to the best of my knowledge.
"Hey Visorslash, that chaos mana would actually be perfect for King Morgan to turn into air mana.
If there are no objections I'll vote it to King Morgan."
Yet I asked for a demon. Perhaps he’s the other thing I asked for… The vampire responsible for breaking my laws.
King Exar has come out and affirmed that there is a vampire(s?) traitor who needs to be found out (and lynched). I had been doing something like TBK with mana orbs so it might be worth waiting a little longer before voting.
Though silent actives who play their cards close to their chests raise my suspicions.
Bad Player the Calcaria Adept
Winston Hughes the Sheaim Merchant
kill fire the Glevum Innkeeper
KingMorgan the Amurite Firebow
Catharsis the Gregori Adventurer
johnhughthom the Luentinum Aristocratic
spaceman98 the Ljosalfar Ambassador
Nintz the Sheaim Knight
Stuck in Pi the Amurite Consul
These are the players that we will be vigging from. - potential to be a demon.
Kill Fire and JHT tonight.
I am very willing to accept my death if any demons wish to kill me. So many inactives begin to suck the life out of you, even more so then I do.
spaceman can die today.
The mana should go to me so I can distribute it.
Pizza is probably scum, but he's posting so we should probably let him live.
If anyone has any information re: possible suspects, please share.
If you want to chat to me outside the game, I have a PM Box, or I have a skype account. PM me if you want to talk.
If you want your personal/secondary goals achieved, PM me and I will see what I can do.
Vampires, the same group that was on SouthernKing will be on Kill Fire. The group that was on Backwards Logic will be on JHT tonight.
I don't have too much to say elsewhise. I'll vote the mana to myself later.
There is no vampire traitor (singular) Vampires don't have a kill action, they have a feed action. There is likely a vampire usurper, if there is it is likely ATPG/Choxorn/FII. Maybe TBK as well.
SpacemanAskthepizzaguy
ATPG is probably scum. spaceman did send me a pm thinking he was going to die when the ljolsofar were being targeted with some info som i'll leave him for the moment actually.
bad player i threatened in pms, he eventually gave up his info.
ATPG is probably the best lynch today imo.
