Meh. Are you sure Seon is the baddie? IMO the evidence isn't strong enough. (OOC:this means that my previous support vote on Nictel is off)

But Seon, I seriously suggest that you reveal more of yourself if you are not a lone wolf.

The Company marched on, their moods soured even worse.

The debate had been fueled a bit though. For a long time, it looked like the Longbowman was going to face execution at the end of the day, but over time, it was the Swordsman who was going to face the wrath of the Company. So when the Company halted again, accusations flew towards the Swordsman as the rest of the Company surrounded him. The Swordsman's eyes darted left and right, looking for an easy way out, but to no avail. He held his hands up into the air, trying to talk his way out of death.

"Nay, you're all wrong. I'm just a small-time crook. Honestly, you've got the wrong guy. Whatever trouble the Company's in has got nothing to do with me. Sure, I've stolen and murdered before; but never from you. "

He only got cold stares from the rest of the Company.

"What? Surely you don't think that my death is going to help anything? "

The Adventurer sighed. "Somebody go ahead and kill him already."

"I'll handle this bastard, all right." The Berserker stepped forward, carrying his new mithril sword with him. "I think I could do with a test whether it's sharper than the old ones."

The Swordsman panicked. All of a sudden, a sword flashed; the Swordsman wasn't going to go down that easily. "So what if I never really was on your side? I've killed more of you - you'll be going the same way as them! We'll be rich, and you'll be left to die here in the cold! You're all doo-"

The Swordsman's words were cut short by the Berserker knocking his head off. Naturally, the Company didn't need much more evidence than the Swordsman had already provided that he was not loyal to them. Guilty as charged, indeed.

Seon was a traitor!

Dinner was for once a much better affair with the Company having caught one of the traitors in their midst. The Snake Fang necklace was handed to the Dragonslayer, and the Berserker could of course keep the Mithril Sword.

The men went to sleep, hoping that having caught one of the traitors the killing would stop.

The Sharpshooter fires an arrow at the ghost of the Swordsman. For some reason, it hits the ghost and makes him vanish.

 

[Seon]

Still not paying attention over here.

And you all can forget me being more active. I got Dragon Age.

A loud explosion abruptly woke the men from their sleep at dawn. They had all slept well because they had caught one of the evildoers; however, they were in for a rude awakening.

Panicked, the men ran out of their tents, all searching for the object that had created that blast. They did not have to look far though; the tent of the Battlemage was ablaze. Somebody had evidently tried to blow him up. All of them sought for a way to douse the flames.

When the flames had been doused, the men sought to recover their comrade. They found the Battlemage beneath his tent, his body wrecked by the explosion. It was too late for him; he had passed away.

The man who had inspected the body of the deceased Battlemage suddenly went white in the face at seeing some ritual markings on the late Battlemage's body. "... by the bile of Agares! Do you see those markings on his body? This means he was a Sheaim archmage once upon a time!" The other men shivered at the thought. Had the Battlemage been involved in some other atrocities?

But despite discovering that the Battlemage had indeed been a Sheaim archmage, there was no evidence of his guilt to be found. Evidently he had repented his evil ways.

Spoiler :

KingMorgan was loyal to the Company.

There were no other dead, and no other items.

At least the rude awakening had one positive effect. The march could start a few hours early.

[Sprig]

The Beserker woke up with cuts all over his arms and hands. He had been cuddling his new sword a bit too hard during the night. The fluid motion that he used to behead the Traitor was just so wonderful.

"Interesting Night, just what are the traitors up to? I am very much bemused by the lack of kills. I have procured evidence that indicates that the Lizardman was killed by the Spearman using the Snake Fang Necklace. It seems as if we are more interested in killing of the each other more than the traitors are."​

 

[Nictel]

"Explosions? Did the death of the Swordsman put an end to the silent killings?

In any case I feel that we must address two issues here; First, I was attacked last night. Fortunately I was able to avoid being killed.

Secondly, in light of yesterday's events I must speak out my severe lack of trust towards askthepizzaguy.

It is unfortunate that we can't ask the spearman any more, we can only assume that he mistrusted the Lizardman."

Yeah, at least if I had attacked Nictel I could claim to have done something.

"So is this the point where I tell everyone that you scan for items?"​

EDIT: Silly attempt to line ATPG up as a target for the traitors. Till I realised that an item scanning ability probably belongs with the traitors.

Oh Frozen in Ice, I would have thought it poetic that you'd be our Illian scum... unlikely, but poetic. And yet there it is.

Die slowly, my friend. The Witch Doctor has spoken!

The Berserker swings his sword in a big arc.
