Random Thoughts Sechs: Eeeeehhhh...

Big round shield and sword it is, even if I was thinking of a twin daggers/crossbow combo for the stealth-mode version of the Valkat character.
Crossbows are cool. :)

But they're hard to use when carrying a shield, unless you have the pocket variety like Sydney Fox did in the TV show Relic Hunter. It takes two hands to load, but only one to fire.

And if Valkat is a cat, daggers are already built-in (in the form of claws). :p

I think my brain short-circuited. :undecide:
I just took that to mean that you like good cookies and don't like bad cookies. Good and bad being a personal preference, of course.

OK, you have one free item slot if you can harden your claws enough not to need blades.

I need to make a model out of this.

Apropos of nothing in particular:

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED???
Of course. I have, almost simultaneously, Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence" and "Celtic Reverie" (from Will Millar's album The Women of Ireland) running through my mind. Both are giving me inspiration for my Kingmaker fanfic, as the main character is a musician who plays the flute and part of the fallout of what happens to him in the game itself is an extended period of depression and PTSD (not that they called it that in the 11th century, but it's a reasonable extrapolation of how someone could react who went through what he did). The game itself stops on a "happy ever after" vibe, but I wanted to know what happened next, so this is part of my take on what happened next.

So, who gets the Cat-Crossbow?

Nope. Not beautiful. :nono: Throwing a cat at someone is a great way for the cat to be killed, especially if a cop decides to regard the cat as a weapon.

Cats should never be thrown or shot from anything.

There have been people at my door who ordered me to "put the cat down" and they aren't able to grasp that I have no intention of throwing the cat at them. I'm trying to prevent her from escaping out the door, and the more agitated the humans at my door get, the more likely the cat will try to get away (scratching me in the process).

Maddy doesn't usually play well with strangers. She'll tolerate some of the nurses who come here, and walk a very wide berth around some. There are only two or three she'll go to for pets and scratches. For the most part, she's a one-human cat, and I'm the human.

And now she's looking at me as I'm typing, and I told her, "Yes, I'm talking about you." So far she's given me no opinion about that.

Valka, regardless of Ajidica's sarcastic post, don't you remember that this was in the context of discussing a 3D-animated anthropomorphic cat warrior?

Because my character would definitely have a shape-shifting kitten hidden in his sporran which could (for, say, 30s, scalable for XP/level gain) become a ferocious mount with increased mobility and melée claw (blade-type) attack.

I've started seeing a shrink. Only been a few times so I guess it's too early to say if it'll be of much use or not. Still, I guess it's a neat experience trying it out either way.

It can be a burden finding one you're compatible with. My best and only positive therapy experience was with a student who graduated and moved overseas. Otherwise it's been fairly pointless (for me). Best of luck.

looking at online shop today, I search for a very old phone like Nokia 3210 or Siemens C55, just for nostalgia, I found it and it cost amazingly cheap like 10 usd lol, I wonder should I buy it or not, I like collecting old stuff

Not a fan. Bur I've known people that claim it helped, and who am I to say they are mistaken.
But them I'm fortunate to have a twin brother to bounce crap off of.

Thanks. Didn't go private but through my gp and stuff so it's affordable. But also maybe not super good? IDK. She's nice, and smart too. But also kinda young and perhaps not that experienced. Perhaps a little too textbook for my case but I really have no idea what a better alternative would look like so there's no point overthinking it. Just gotta go with it and see I guess.

Assuming they're not atrocious right out the gate, it takes me four or five sessions to figure out if there's something there or not.

The only therapy I can get through the public system here is group therapy. Private is the only route for 1-on-1 therapy, and it is, shall we say, heavy on the wallet.

Norway. What a hellhole. Socialists.

:mischief:

It still costs me around 35€ for an ~hour session but would be much more if I went private.
